Vivo has officially released a new mid-range segment device Vivo Y50, which is an addition to the already popular Vivo Y series. Vivo Y50 is a stylish add-on with an all-new display type from Vivo, ultra-speed processor and quad-camera setup.
Vivo Y50 is launched currently in China at a price of 1698 Yuan which is around Rs.18,000. Vivo Y50 is available in three stylish colour variants – Pearl White, Starry Black and Iris Blue. Vivo Y50 price in India and availability is still not confirmed.
Vivo Y50 brings to view and elegant and refined design with 3D curves on the rear panel. The radial pattern on the body enhances the look. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the centre of the rear panel adjacent to a quad-camera setup.
Vivo Y50 is available in three artistic colour options of Iris Blue, Starry Black and Pearl White.
Vivo Y50 sports an all-new 6.53-inch Ultra O display which features a very tiny punch-hole on the top left corner for the selfie camera. This enhances the viewing experience and the screen-to-body ratio reaches 90.7%. The display on the Vivo Y50 has an FHD+ resolution of 2340×1080. The apps integrate with the display smoothly for a powerful visual experience. There is no mention of a higher refresh rate on the display though.
Vivo Y50 promises an ultra-fast performance with an octa-core Snapdragon 665 processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128G storage. Multi-tasking is a breeze on the new Vivo Y50. Moreover, the device runs on Funtouch OS 10 with brand new aesthetics. Vivo V50 supports Jovi Smart Scene, Jovi voice assistant and other smart planning tools for an enriching experience.
Vivo V50 comes with a quad-camera module on the back with 13MP HD main camera, 8MP super-wide-angle camera, 2MP bokeh camera and a 2MP macro lens. The camera offers wide-ranging clarity with these four lenses and improves night vision with the super night algorithm. The quality of videos also comes out stunning with video stabilization algorithm.
For the selfie purpose, there is a 16MP front camera hidden in the tiny punch-hole on the front.
Vivo Y50 packs a sufficiently large battery capacity of 5000 mAh to provide over one day of heavy usage. The Vivo Y50 supports an 18W flash charging feature to charge it quickly.
Vivo Y50 is an overall ultra-stylish and ultra-fast smartphone from Vivo with overall improved specs, better camera, bigger battery as compared to the past devices. There is no detail as to when and if it will come to India and at what price.
