The launch of the Gionee Max has already been teased on Flipkart. This clearly means that the Gionee Max will go on sale in Flipkart. As per the tease, the device will be flaunting a huge battey although the exact capacity has not been revealed yet. The teaser also reveals that the device will be having a waterdrop display. The price tag will be under Rs 6,000 as well.

Gionee Max Specifications
The expected specifications of the Gionee Max are very limited as not much has been revealed. However, the smartphone will be featuring a huge battery and it is likely that we see a 5000 mAh capacity. It will be an entry-level smartphone so not much can be expected in the processor front.

The smartphone will be announced on August 25 at 2 PM IST. However, it is very likely that a few other details might be revealed through Flipkart before the official announcement.
The fate of this smartphone seems to be very unpredictable as Gionee has not released any major devices for over a year in India. This has the potential to be a big comeback for the brand. The last phone released by the brand was the Gionee F205 Pro which was launched way back in the February of 2019.
However, the company did launch the Gionee K6 in China this year in May. The device comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM along with the MediaTek P60 chipset. It has a 6.2-inch waterdrop display as well. The phone is fueled by a 4350 mAh battery too.
