The rear camera setup consists of a single 13MP camera with digital zoom, auto flash, custom watermark, face detection, filters, smile detection, and touch focus. Video recording is available in 1080p at 30 fps.

For selfies, the Honor Play 9C comes with a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture, capable of recording video in 1080p.
