The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is a long overdue flagship from Lenovo. It has a few pros and cons:

The Lenovo Z5 Pro is a power-packing phone which does not falter in the camera or display department. If you are a Lenovo fan, then this phone is a worthy all-rounder to go for.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is a suitable flagship that makes up for the gap of a proper flagship in the Lenovo series. Priced at Rs. 45,290, the phone packs a grunting recent Snapdragon processor paired with huge RAM, making it a supreme processor beating flagship like Samsung.
But the performance is not its only top quality. The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has excellent cameras, vibrant display, and a unique slider mechanism, all of it designed with the sole purpose to impress the premium audience. If you are a Lenovo fan, this phone will not disappoint you in any way.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT arrives as a slider phone which hides the selfie camera behind the slider so that you get a bezel-free screen. However, there is a slight chin that you need to deal with. The sliding mechanism works manually. However, there is one odd setting. The phone holds the speaker behind the slide.
There are no holes for voice output on the front, and so, you have to slide the phone down to accept calls. It might be bothersome. The phone is almost thin at 9.3mm, and chunky with a bit of heft at around 210g. However, it looks quite polished, but if you compare it with premium good-looking phones like Honor, you might be disappointed. The rear back is a carbon-weave just below the glass panel, making it look quite premium.
While the design may be mildly attractive, the Z5 Pro GT packs a punch with its display. The phone arrives with a 6.39-inch display with a Super AMOLED screen. It gives you the rich blacks along with an overall vibrancy. Plus, the screen comes with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio, which is a modern display that most phones come in.
The pixel density is good too, coming at 403 ppi. The colors on this phone are quite sharp and have accurate color reproduction. It is quite bright, and the lack of bezels give you an immersive experience. The phone gets you 95% of screen-to-body ratio.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT powers it up in the processing section. The phone arrives with the new Snapdragon 855 chipset, pairing it with 8GB RAM. If you are extra adventurous, you can go for the 12GB variant too. Performance of daily apps on this phone is butter smooth. You also do not have any problems with gaming.
This phone is capable enough to handle major high-end games without any struggle. The phone is capable of handling anything that you throw at it. Games can also be played in high settings. You also get the modern in-display fingerprint scanner which is quite snappy.
The phone arrives with dual cameras on the rear panel and the front. On the front, you get two selfie cameras, a 16MP, and an 8MP camera. The selfies clicked on this phone are quite decent. The colors are quite good and can be used for social media. On the rear end, the phone comes with a primary 24MP camera along with a supporting 16MP camera.
The shots clicked with this camera are quite decent with minimal visual noise captured. The portrait mode is quite good, too, due to proper depth sensing. The edge detection is on point. However, the camera quality will not surprise you in any way.
The phone arrives with a decent 3350 mAh phone. It’s an adequate battery for this phone and can keep it alive for an entire day with moderate use. Light use can keep it active for more than a day. The phone also comes with fast charging, getting a decent charge within the first 30 minutes. However, despite coming with a glass back, the phone does not offer wireless charging.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is truly a flagship phone from Lenovo. Packing the recent processor from Snapdragon brings a lot of grunt to this phone. On top of that, the display with the Super AMOLED screen makes it vibrant and immersive. The battery is decent as well, and the slider design is mildly premium. Overall, it is a flagship all-rounder.
