LG has added the latest entry-level smartphones in its W-series. One of the unveiled devices is LG W11, which is the successor of last year’s LG W10. The new smartphone features identical specifications to the previous models with an upgraded camera setup. Let us have a look at all the features and specifications one by one.
LG W11 price in India
LG W11 is an entry-level smartphone and comes in a single variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The LG W11 price for this variant in India is Rs.9,490. The device has been launched in India and you can buy it in Midnight blue colour. LG W11 specifications when compared with other smartphones from the same price, this device turns out to be overpriced.
LG W11 features a simple design with U-shaped notch on the front along with a thick chin and noticeable bezels around the screen. On the rear, there is a plastic panel with a pill-shaped notch for housing the rear-camera setup along with LED Flash. The rear panel also features the logo from the brand. The power button and the volume rocker have been placed on the right edge and USB on the go at the bottom. The LG W11 measures 166.2mm in height, 76.3mm in width and 8.4mm in thickness and the smartphone weighs 145 grams. There is no fingerprint sensor in this device, which is the major drawback.
The entry-level smartphone from LG features a 6.52-inch LCD IPS display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a resolution of 720 pixels. The HD+ display comes with a pixel density of 269PPI for offering punchy colours. It would have been better to keep the resolution FHD+ for offering sharp visuals.
LG W11 comes with the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset for powering this device along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU for handling the graphics. There is 3GB RAM along with 32GB internal storage for storing your data. The smartphone runs on Android 10 OS.
If the price would have been around Rs.5,000 for the LG W11, then this processor was good enough, but for the given price tag, both the processor and RAM along with internal storage are inadequate.
As for the LG W11 camera, there is a 13MP dual-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 13MP main sensor along with a 5MP portrait lens. For enhancing the lighting conditions, there is a flash on the rear side along with this camera setup. For selfies, there is a 5MP camera under the U-shaped notch on the front side.
LG W11 has got a 4000 mAh battery under the hood for ensuring full day battery backup. Although LG has provided a decent battery in this smartphone, the refilling capacity is quite slow. There is a 10W charger, which means it is going to take many hours to charge your battery. Also, there is a USB 2.0 charging port, which adds more to the miseries.
LG W11, the entry-level smartphone from LG has got a poor chipset, poor camera and poor storage. However the 4000 mAh battery offers a bit of relief, but looking at the overall performance, this smartphone is not recommended at all.
