After a long wait Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi Mi 10 5G smartphone in India at 12 PM today. The launch event went live on Xiaomi’s YouTube channel and its social media handle too. The company has been teasing the India launch of the flagship smartphone for quite some time now and it is finally here.
The Mi 10 smartphone has already been launched in China. The smart phones were supposed to launch on March 31 but it was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The smartphone is pretty similar to the Mi 10 Pro, but there are minor differences.
Mi 10 5G Specifications
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch 1080p Full HD+ curved AMOLED display with a punch-hole on the top-left corner. The screen also supports a 90Hz refresh rate and it offers a peak brightness of 1,120 nits.
The device is powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with Adreno 650 GPU and X55 modem, which supports 5G connectivity. The company launched the phone with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage capacity. Mi 10 battery is a massive 4,780mAh cell along with support for 30W fast wired and wireless charging as well as 10W reverse wireless charging..

The Mi 10 5G houses a 108MP camera with a 1/1.33-inch sensor along with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The second is a 13MP ultra-wide camera with 123-degree FOV. There is also a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera of the device is 20MP and is placed in the punch-hole cutout.
Mi 10 launch price in India starts at Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant priced at Rs 54,999. It is available in Coral Green and Twilight Grey color variants.
Xiaomi also launched Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 in India as expected. This is Xiaomi’s first pair of true wireless earphones in India. The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 have been launched alongside the Mi Box 4K streaming device. MI True Wireless Earphones 2 price is set at Rs. 4,499 whereas Mi Box 4K Streaming Device is Priced at Rs. 3,499.
