Motorola Moto E30

The Motorola Moto E30 has been unveiled as the company’s next low-cost smartphone. Similarities between this new phone and the Moto E40 that Lenovo-owned firm debuted in areas like India and Europe last month is evident. This translates to a hole-punch display, three back cameras, and a huge 5,000mAh battery. However, Moto E30 is built on Google’s simplified Android Go platform, while Moto E40 provides a full-fledged Android experience.

Motorola E30 price in India

The Moto E30 is priced at COP 529,900 (about Rs. 10,200) for the only 2GB + 32GB storage configuration. The phone is available for purchase in many South American countries, including Colombia and Slovakia, and comes in two colour options including Blue and Urban Grey.  Moto E30’s worldwide release date and availability details are yet to be announced.

Design 

The Moto E30 is a simple phone with a polycarbonate casing. It’s waterproof to IP52. The Moto E30’s textured back provides superb grip. The Moto E30’s camera module is recessed to keep it flat on the table. When holding the Moto E30 typically, the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner is at the fingertip. The power and volume buttons on the right are identical. Only the Google Assistant button has a raised position. A long reach is required to make contact with the ball. 

A quick look at the Moto E30’s bottom reveals a USB Type-C port, speaker grill, and microphone. The only part of the bezel that stands out is the bottom. Asymmetrical corner curves and black circles around the front camera are, on the other hand, all too common on phones in this price range.

Display 

The moto E30 is equipped with a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ Display, which provides wide viewing angles while preserving a 20:9 aspect ratio for a more pleasing visual experience overall. A refresh rate of 90 Hz also allows for seamless scrolling and screen utilisation, which is beneficial for both gaming and everyday use.

Performance 

Motorola has joined forces with Unisoc, just like other players in the field. Because of the UNISOC T700 Octa-core 1.8 GHz processor, you may use the Moto E30 with confidence knowing that it will deliver excellent graphics performance. The Mali G52MP2 GPU, clocked at 850MHz, is included as part of the bundle. 

However, the RAM and the storage are disappointing here, you’ll get only 2GB RAM in the Moto E30 along with only 32GB internal storage. With a dedicated card, you can increase the storage up to 1TB. All of that technology is impressive, but the Android Go platform is what really sets it apart.

Camera 

Moto E30 sports three cameras, the most important of which is a 48-megapixel sensor. Pixel binning is used, although the results are only available in 12MP. If you want to use all of your camera’s megapixels, there’s a high resolution preset for that as well. In addition, there is a 2MP depth sensor for portraits and a 2MP macro camera for up-close shots, so you’re covered for the most part.

On the front of the Moto E30, there’s an 8-megapixel camera. You may film in Full HD at 30 frames per second from either side of the camera. HDR, Night Vision, Pro mode, and Google Lens integration round out the camera features.

Battery 

The 5000 mAh battery in the Moto E30  allows you to do all you want while still having plenty of battery life. This allows you to listen to music for up to 76 hours, watch videos for up to 14 hours, and browse the web for up to 10 hours. 

Verdict 

The Motorola E30 has got a decent chipset along with a quick display and good cameras. However, the 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage is disappointing. Also, the device runs on the Android Go edition owing to the less RAM and which again goes against this device. You can look for something else.
