Released in May 2018, Moto E5 Plus is not available in the market at a starting price of Rs. 7, 999. In this price range it is equipped with a great battery life, good camera and a good processor which does not make the phone lag. The only downside of this model is that is runs on a previous Android version. 

The phone has dimensions of 6.33 x 2.96 x 0.37 inches and weighs 196.6 grams. It has a plastic build with a rear mounted fingerprint reader. The phone is protected by water protection and a water repellent coating. It has a micro USB port as well as a headphone jack. The phone looks rather stylish and pleasing to the eye and is comfortable to use for long hours. Among its competitors, this phone has one of the better designs with its excellent battery life and good camera.

Moto E5 Plus has a 6 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen HD+display with a pixel resolution of 1440 x 720 and 16 M colours. It has an aspect ratio of 18:9 with a 268 PPI density and a screen to body ratio of 76.7%. The display screen is protected by an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass. The screen is the perfect level of bright, with vivid colours and tones and the contents of the screen can be easily viewed under bright sunlight. E5 Plus has a rather good display for a phone in this price bracket 

Moto E5 plus has a great specification for the price at which it is being offered at. It runs on a Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 chipset with a quad core 1.4 GHz Cortex A53 Adreno 308 processor. It is available with a 3 GB RAM with 32 GB of internal storage. The phone’s storage is expandable up to 256 GB through a micro SD card.  This Moto model runs on the previous Android 8.0 Oreo. The phone has an above average configuration, but for its price the specifications are commendable. User reviews claim that the phone functions very smoothly and does not lag even after heavy usage and playing games for long hours.

This model has a non-removable Li-ion 5000 mAh battery which is equipped with the fast charging feature. A micro USB 2.0 can be used to charge this phone along with a 15 W Turbopower charger. 15 minutes of charging will lead to battery life worth of 6 hours of usage. When completely charged, it takes around 1.5 days for the battery to completely drain with moderate usage. With heavy usage the battery can last somewhere around 21 to 23 hours. This Moto phone gives an impeccable battery performance and has the best battery performance in this price range.

In this price range, E5 Plus is one of the best options one can look at. It can a good display and a stylish body along with an excellent battery life and good camera. It’s configuration and processor is good and won’t let the phone slow down even with heavy usage of apps. The image resolution could have been better but the camera features makes up for it, especially considering the price of the phone.
