Motorola has released a new addition to its Moto E series of entry-level smartphones, the Motorola Moto E7 Plus. The Motorola E7 Plus is a long-awaited upgrade for the Moto E-series of smartphones with some great features packed in this device. Boasting a Max Vision HD+ display, a 48MP dual-camera system, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and a massive battery to power it all. The Motorola Moto E7 Plus is here to make a dent in the entry-level segment with its budget-friendly pricing.

The Motorola Moto E7 Plus comes in a single storage and memory variant which carries a price tag of ₹9,499 and is going on sale on Flipkart from 30th September 2020 from noon.
The Motorola Moto E7 Plus features a unibody water-repellent design. The back of the device features the dual-camera system along with the LED flash and the fingerprint sensor which has Motorola’s stylized M on it. The front of the device is the 6.5-inch HD+ screen with a waterdrop-shaped notch for the front camera to reside in. The power and the volume buttons are placed on the right side of the device. Also, a dedicated button for enabling the Google Assistant is present with the power and the volume buttons. The top of the device has the headphone jack while the bottom of the device has the micro USB port, the loudspeaker, and the microphone.
The device weighs around 200g and is 9.18mm thick. The Moto E7 Plus is available in Misty Blue and Twilight Orange colours.
The Motorola Moto E7 Plus is having a 6.5-inch 720 by 1600 pixel IPS TFT LCD. The screen-to-body ratio on this display is at 86%, which is acceptable on a device like this but the front chin is massive. The colour output of this display is at 16M colours and the aspect ratio is at 20:9 on this one. There is a waterdrop-shaped notch on top for the display for the front camera to reside in.
Under the hood, the Motorola Moto E7 Plus is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor. It is based on the 11nm process with maximum clock speeds up to 1.8GHz. There is a storage of 64GB and a memory of 4GB. There is a provision of expanding the storage on this device up to 512GB via the hybrid microSD card slot on the device.
The Motorola Moto E7 Plus is running on the stock version of Android 10 with no ads or bloatware on the phone. Motorola’s custom Moto gestures are also present in the device.
The Motorola Moto E7 Plus is having a dual-camera system on the back and a single camera on the front. The dual-camera system consists of a main 48MP sensor with Quad Pixel technology for better photos in any lighting environment. The secondary sensor is a 2MP depth sensor for a better bokeh effect on the pictures shot in portrait mode. There is a single LED flash for lighting up the scene when required. The rear camera has various features for better pictures like HDR, High-res zoom, Portrait mode, RAW photo output, and more. The video capture using the rear camera can rate up to 1080p at a maximum of 60fps.
The front camera is an 8MP sensor with features like HDR, portrait mode, Live filter, RAW photo output, Spot Colour, Gesture Selfie, and many more to take that selfie game to the next level. The video capture from the front camera is rated at 1080p at 30fps.
The Motorola Moto E7 Plus is having a massive 5000mAh Li-Po battery with support of 10W of charging. The battery life is advertised to last over 2 days which is more than enough for a device like this.
Motorola has upped its game with the launch of the Moto E7 Plus. Such great specs bundled in a good design is more than enough for the price tag Motorola is asking for. There have been some corners cut by Motorola on this device but the price tag and the specifications are enough to back those up. Motorola has released a great smartphone addition in the entry-level segment.
