The new smartphone joins the Motorola Moto G Stylus, which was released in January 2021 and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset in the 5G-enabled Moto G Stylus, on the other hand, is meant to offer 5G connectivity to low-cost smartphones. The updated model also has a new square-shaped back camera module that matches the smartphone’s colour scheme. Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G Price in India
Moto G Stylus 5G costs $399 for the single 6GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, which comes in only one colour, Cosmic Emerald. The phone will be available in the United States starting June 14th, and Motorola, which is owned by Lenovo, has not yet revealed information on its worldwide availability. The expected price of Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G in India is Rs.29,999.
Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (yeah, that name isn’t easy to pronounce) is a huge, huge phone. You have an extra-large chassis owing to the 6.8-inch screen and integrated stylus support. Even a phone like the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max is overshadowed by it. There’s no denying that it’s a pain to work with.
Plastic makes up the majority of the phone. Although the front panel is made of glass (Motorola hasn’t specified the type), the mid-frame and back panel are constructed of polycarbonate. The frame has a glossy appearance, and the back panel appears to be made of glass. The Moto G Stylus 5G includes a fingerprint sensor on the back. It’s a little high up on the display in my opinion, but it’s simple to use and unlocks the phone quickly.
Don’t anticipate complete waterproofing, as with most Motorola phones. Instead, nano-coating has been applied to the insides, which protects them from splashing, rain, and perspiration but not submersion. On the right edge, you’ll find the power button and the volume rocker. The power button’s profile is too low, making it difficult to locate in a hurry. The phone’s left edge has the combination SIM/microSD tray, while the bottom edge has the headphone jack, USB-C connector, speaker, and stylus dock.
The Moto G Stylus 5G features a Full HD+ Max Vision display. It’s a typical 60Hz refresh rate IPS LCD with a punch-hole for the selfie camera. The bezels are kept to a minimum, although there is a chin at the bottom. The screen appears to be vibrant and vivid. Although visibility is not an issue indoors, sunshine will impair your ability to view the screen. It might be difficult to use outside due to glare and other factors. For a phone in this price range, the resolution and clarity are adequate.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset powers the Moto G Stylus 5G. This CPU is at the top of Qualcomm’s 400 series, and it outperforms all except the most recent 600 series CPUs. Moto G Stylus 5G comes with Android 11 and Motorola’s My UX user interface preinstalled. It has an inbuilt storage of 256GB and up to 6GB of RAM. It has 6GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card.
A 48-megapixel main camera with an f/1.7 aperture sits beside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 118-degree field-of-view on the phone’s quad rear camera system (FoV). A 5-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture are also included in the camera module. A 16-megapixel camera is housed behind a hole-punch cutout on the front for selfies and video calls. Full-HD video may be recorded with both the front and back cameras.
Moto G Stylus 5G comes with a 5000 mAh battery supporting 10W charging. Although the battery capacity is good enough to last for longer periods, the absence of the prominent fast charging feature might be a deal broker for many users. There is a Type-C charging port for refilling the battery and the 3.5mm headphone jack has been retained in Moto G Stylus 5G.
Moto G Stylus 5G is a wonderful phone, however, it does have some flaws. Those flaws may appear trivial to some because it is the only cheap 5G stylus on the market. However, because the phone is so concentrated on a few key functions, you might be better off looking at some of the more well-rounded competitors unless you’re searching for a phone that fulfils a very particular requirement.
