When Genshin Impact was first launched last year, it immediately took the world by storm. Moreover, the open-world role-playing Action game broke records on every platform that it was rolled out for. Besides, the mobile version of Genshin Impact was surprisingly well optimized as well. On top of all that, it is a free-to-play game which made things even better.
However, one thing that the game has been missing for quite some time now is the ability to cross save across platforms. Genshin Impact maker miHoYo studio is reportedly working towards introducing this feature soon. Furthermore, several reports suggest that the brand new feature could arrive by next year itself. However, nothing can be said for sure so it is to be taken with a pinch of salt for now.
When the cross save feature rolls out as a Genshin Impact 2.0 update, it will further enhance user experience. This is because there are a lot of players who play on the PC and not on their mobile or consoles and vice versa. The availability of the cross save feature will allow players to save their progress from any platform. This will allow players to resume the game without having to restart all over again on a different platform.
Genshin Impact Cross Save Feature: What Else?
Moreover, if players want to play on their Android or iOS devices instead of a console, that can be done easily as well. Open world games are pretty massive and take a lot of time to complete or progress. Genshin Impact is no exception with a 44 and a half hours of gameplay. That is very long and definitely calls for a cross save feature.
Additionally, if mobile players want to shift to a bigger screen, they can do so easily. To be very honest, Genshin Impact is a beautiful game graphically. The experience on a bigger screen increases two fold and can make players shift to a different platform. In that case, the cross save feature will come in super handy. Players can easily shift from one platform to another without any hassle. A single user ID and password can be used for logging in and resuming the game on any platform.
Another thing to note is that Genshin Impact already supports cross-play. Cross play basically refers to users playing on different platforms to come together and play. For example, if you are playing the game on mobile and your friend is on the PC, you both can play together without any issues. Now, the cross-save feature will further enhance the player’s ease of access and overall experience.
Additionally, Genshin Impact for Nintendo Switch is already in the works. So, when users who play on other platforms decide to move to Switch, they can do so easily. The cross save feature surely will make things a lot easier for several players out there.
