Honor Magic 6 Teased To Launch In India As CEO Hosts Twitter Poll

Honor CEO Madhav Sheth has teased the launch of the Honor Magic 6 in India. The company could bring either the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition or the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design to the country. The phone made its debut last week and could soon debut to the Indian shores. Here is everything you need to know about the launch of the Honor Magic 6 in India.

Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition Or Honor Magic 6 Porsche RSR To Arrive In India

HTech CEO Madhav Sheth has teased the arrival of the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition or Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design in the country. He posted photos of both phones and asked the audience to vote in favour of either phone they would like the company to launch.

The main differences between the two phones are in terms of design and display. The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition offers a square camera island on the back, while the Magic 6 Porsche RSR has a hexagon-shaped module.

Furthermore, the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition boasts a vegan leather finish with a vertical line in the middle, while the RSR has a glass back with a strip on the right. In addition, the Porsche RSR has a dual-layer OLED tandem screen, which the company claims can extend its life span by 600 per cent, although the rest of the specifications of both phones remain the same.

The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate is available in two variants: 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB, while the Honor Magic 6 RSR is available in a single variant of 24GB+1TB. The Ultimate sells in China in Ink Black and Sky Purple colours, while the RSR is on sale in Agate Gray and IceBerry Pink.

Magic 6 Specifications

The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate and RSR Porsche Design feature a 6.8-inch Full-HD+ LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the screen has 1800 nits of peak brightness and Glory King Kong Rhinoceros Glass for protection.

Both phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and can be paired with up to 16GB and 24GB of RAM, respectively. They ship with MagicOS 8, which is based on Android 14, and offer up to 1TB of storage.

For optics, the Honor Magic 6 has a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a whopping 180-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens with 3D depth sensor. On the front, there is a 50-megapixel sensor with OIS.

The camera has a LIDAR array focusing sensor with 100x digital zoom, EIS and OIS support. Both phones pack a 5,600mAh battery with 80W wired and 66W wireless charging support.
