Honor is gearing up for the launch of its’ next flagship series, Honor V40 in China. It is all set to launch on January 18th, confirms the company. In addition, the company also releases a teaser video that clearly shows the side view of the new Honor phone. It also shows off a hole-punch design and curved display.

There are a lot of leaks and reports coming related to the Honor V40 series. It can include a proprietary fast charging technology and feature a quad rear camera setup. Moreover, it is to accompany HonorV40 Pro and HonorV40Pro+ in the launch. The company also confirms it with a Weibo post in China. Additionally, in GeekBench listing V40 gets 468 points in single-core testing and 2061 in multi-core testing.
As per the teaser, Honor V40 will feature a pill-shaped dual selfie camera cutout that could include two sensors. There will also be a curved display with thin bezels. The right side of the phone is seen with a power button and a volume rocker. Whereas, its bottom area seems to have a USB Type-C port at the middle, with a SIM card slot and a loudspeaker grille on its sides.

Honor V40 Key Specs Leaked (Expected)
According to reports, it will run on Android 10-based Magic UI 4.0. It may come with a 6.72-inch OLED display with 2,676×1,236 pixels resolution.
The phone is rumored to have a 120Hz refresh rate and MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC. Additionally, Honor V40 can also include at least 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

Multiple leaks reveal that the smartphone might come with a quad-camera setup with a combination of 50MP primary lens. This will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro shooter, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there might be a dual-camera setup with a combination of 32MP primary lens and 16MP secondary shooter.
It is also expected to pack a 4,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging. Moreover, Honor V40 will also come with 45W wireless fast charging support.
