Just yesterday reports suggested that Epic Games Store will be giving away the Tomb Raider trilogy for free today on December 31, 2021. Now, it seems the new leak is actually true. Yes, that’s right! The whole trilogy is free to claim in this Christmas annual giveaway.
To recall, this Christmas Holiday Sale 2021, started with the underwhelming Shenmue 3, and then to games like Control and Neon Abyss. But it looks like Epic Games wants to end this giveaway with a bang with the Tomb Raider trilogy.

Tomb Raider Trilogy Free on Epic Games
It includes three of the most recent games – Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the TombRaider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It is also one of the most iconic video game franchises. From 1996 to 2021, both Tomb Raider and its titular character Lara Croft have gone through multiple iterations. With the 2013’s Tomb Raider reboot, Crystal Dynamics kicked off a new saga with an inexperienced Lara Croft.

Now, the Tomb Raider trilogy begins with an origin story for Lara Croft and explores how Lara becomes the “Tomb Raider she is destined to be”. Each game in the Tomb Raider will be free to keep until 9:30 PM on January 6, 2022. Meanwhile, Epic Games Store has also revealed the next weekly free game. Gods Will Fall, a top-down action game, will be free from January 6 to January 13, 2022.
