iQOO 8 to Come With 120W Fast Charging Support; iQOO 8 Pro Can Get 50W Wireless Charging

    iQOO 8 series charging details confirmed

iQOO 8 series is debuting in China on August 17, 2021. They have also confirmed the launch of two variants in the series lineup – vanilla and the Pro model. Moreover, the two phones from iQOO could make their way to India later this year. The company is yet to announce the official India launch details. Although they have also revealed more details of the upcoming flagship phones ahead of the launch. Now, the company has also confirmed the charging details of its new premium phones.

iQOO 8 series charging details confirmed

Ahead of the official launch, the company has revealed the fast charging details. Both phones will come with support for 120W fast charging. On the other hand, the iQOO 8 Pro model is confirmed to get support for 50W wireless fast charging. It will also support reverse wireless charging. There is still no word on the total battery capacity. We can expect the phones to have a 4000 mAh or a 4500 mAh battery.

Meanwhile, iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 8 Pro model will feature a triple-camera setup with VIS five-axis anti-shake micro-cloud gimbal stabilisation. It will have a 50MP main camera and a 48MP ultrawide camera sensor. The triple-camera setup will be completed by a 16MP mid-focus lens with a focal length of 14-60mm.

In addition, the iQOO 8 flagship phones are also confirmed to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC. It will include 12GB of RAM and also feature 4GB of extended RAM support. Moreover, it is also confirmed to come with a curved panel sporting a 2K resolution. Earlier leak confirmed the Samsung E5 AMOLED display on the Pro model will come with LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) tech. It allows a variable refresh rate support that switches between 1Hz and 120Hz depending on the on-screen content.
