Following Airtel’s and Vi’s move to hike their tariffs for their prepaid recharge plans, Reliance Jio has also announced the same on Sunday. On November 28, 2021, Reliance Jio announced up to 21 per cent hike in its prepaid tariffs. The new unlimited plans will go-live on December 1, 2021. All of the top three telecom operators have now increased their prices.

Jio Prepaid Recharge Plan New Prices
Now, the Rs. 75 plan is now pricing Rs. 91. In the table below, you will find that the 11 other mobile phone plans and four data packages will now be around or over 20 per cent more expensive than before. Jio has also increased the price of its plans with a longer duration. For instance: the 84-day plan starting at Rs. 329 will cost Rs. 395 from now. Whereas, the Rs. 555 plan will now cost Rs. 100 more at Rs. 666. But the plan will continue to offer 1.5GB of data per day for customers.

Meanwhile, the Rs. 599 plan which has a validity of 84 days will now cost Rs. 719. The plans continue with unlimited voice and 100 SMS per day. The Rs. 1,299 prepaid recharge Jio plan will now cost Rs 1,559. Jio’s yearly prepaid recharge plan has also hiked by Rs. 480 and costs Rs. 2,879 for the same benefits as before.

On the other hand, the company has also increased the prices of the data add-on plans. The Rs. 51 data plan will soon cost Rs. 61, whereas the Rs. 101 pack will be priced at Rs. 121. One will also see a Rs. 251 data add-on pack, which will give users 50GB of data valid for 30 days.
