This first-of-its-kind in India rollable TV costs a hefty Rs. 75,00,000. LG claims that its rollable TV uses “groundbreaking technology that reimagines what a TV is capable of,” and that this should come at a premium, according to the South Korean manufacturer. The LG Signature R OLED does not need to explain its astronomical price, but there will only be a limited number of buyers.

LG’s 2022 OLED TV series is driven by the company’s latest Alpha 9 Gen 5 processor, which, when combined with various visual algorithms, is known as evo technology. “LG OLED evo TVs have remarkable clarity and detail for lifelike images that deliver a true-to-life experience,” LG India said in a press release.

The new LG OLED TVs are divided into three series: G2, Z2, and C2. While the G2 and C2 series use 4K OLED screens, the Z2 series features an 88-inch “world’s largest” 8K OLED TV. Everything on streaming services like Netflix and Apple TV Plus seems immersive because to these TVs’ Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos capabilities.

LG’s new televisions run webOS 22, which gives consumers access to features like Room to Room Share. This allows users to replicate content from one TV to another using a WiFi connection. Similar to Samsung’s Frame QLED, the software allows the TVs to transform into media screens. LG’s new OLED TVs start at Rs. 89,990 and will be available soon in both online and offline retailers.
