Vivo T4 Pro Design and Build
The Vivo T4 Pro has a similar design to the Vivo V60, which I just reviewed two weeks ago. The significant difference between the phones is Ziss’ branding on the V60.
While there is no question about the finish, it offers a matte finish back, and I’m using its Nitro Blue, which I liked so much.
It does not attract fingerprint stains on the back, which is also a good thing. There is no curve on the front or back like the Moto Edge 50, but it has a slight curved look that feels premium.
One thing that concerns me is that it should have at least an aluminium frame instead of a plastic frame and back.
The Vivo T4 Pro is rated with IP68/IP69 for dust tightness and water resistance, meaning it can withstand high-pressure water jets and is immersible up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. However, Vivo claims it can resist underwater conditions for up to 120 minutes.
Additionally, it is MIL-STD-810H compliant for protection, but does not guarantee ruggedness or suitability for use in extreme conditions. Therefore, I recommend using it with a protective case, which is included in the box.
Moving on to the ports, the top of the device features a microphone and speaker. On the right side, you’ll find the power and volume buttons. At the bottom of the phone, there is a volume strip, another microphone, a Type-C charging port, and a SIM tray.

Vivo T4 Pro Camera
Vivo consistently excels in camera performance, and the Vivo T4 Pro delivers exceptional results in all conditions. I took photos in different situations, and you can see my images and colours are quite similar.
Moreover, I took many pictures of flowers to test their colours and edge accuracy, and it nailed almost all the colours.
Its telephoto lens helps a lot to capture depth in images, and you can see my portrait photos where the edges are captured accurately. The skin tones look natural, and the background blur feels smooth. Even in low light, the camera keeps details sharp without adding much noise.
The ultra-wide sensor also performs well. It keeps good colours and wide coverage without losing detail on the edges. For videos, you get steady shots with clear sound, and switching between lenses feels smooth.
The selfie camera also stands out. It captures fine details, balanced colours, and provides a bright look even indoors. Portrait selfies keep the focus sharp and add a natural blur behind you.
Moreover, you can record 4K videos with both front and rear cameras at 30fps. I recorded a few videos, and the audio pickup is good even in public areas.
Overall, the Vivo T4 Pro upholds the brand’s strong camera reputation. It works well in both daylight and low light, as well as for portraits and selfies, providing reliable results in every shot.
Vivo T4 Pro Battery and Charging
The Vivo T4 Pro comes with a big 6,500mAh battery, which easily handles a full day of use. In my testing, the phone lasted well when I used it for social media, YouTube, browsing, and calls. With this kind of light to medium use, I got around 10 to 11 hours of screen time, which is good for most people.
When it comes to gaming, the story changes a bit. Playing BGMI and other battle royale games drains the battery faster, and you can expect around 6 to 7 hours of screen time. Even then, the phone comfortably runs for 20 to 21 hours on a single charge.
The best part is the 90W fast charger. It can charge the phone from zero to 100 per cent in under an hour, roughly around 50 to 52 minutes. Charging gets warm, but not uncomfortably hot. Overall, the battery experience is very reliable.
Vivo T4 Pro Display
The Vivo T4 Pro features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display that instantly captures attention. It offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, making it one of the sharpest and smoothest screens in its segment.
The panel is bright, colourful, and crisp, which makes everything from browsing social media to binge-watching shows enjoyable. When I tested it outdoors, the screen handled sunlight with ease, thanks to the peak brightness of 5000 nits. Even under direct light, text and visuals stayed clear without forcing me to squint.
The 120Hz refresh rate is another highlight. Scrolling feels effortless, and gaming is fluid with no lag in animations. The adaptive refresh rate also helps in saving battery by adjusting depending on what you are doing.
The touch sampling rate is high, so while playing BGMI and Asphalt 9, I felt quick response times with every tap and swipe.
Another strong point is the HDR10+ support, which brings richer colours and deeper contrast, allowing you to watch high-quality videos in OTT apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube. Dark scenes appear deep and cinematic, while brighter areas stand out without oversaturation.
Overall, the Vivo T4 Pro display review is a complete package. It delivers clarity, smoothness, and high brightness, making it perfect for daily use, entertainment, and gaming.
Vivo T4 Pro Performance
The Vivo T4 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, the same processor that Vivo has used in its V60. It handles daily tasks without any trouble, and you won’t face lag while browsing, using social media, or streaming videos.
When it comes to gaming, the performance is quite similar to the Vivo V60. I tried playing BGMI and Asphalt 9, and most of the time, the gameplay was smooth. But during clutch moments, like hot drops or when the circle gets smaller, I did notice frame drops and slight lag. It’s not game-breaking, but it can be frustrating if you’re expecting flagship-level performance.
One positive aspect is that the phone does not overheat at all, even after extended sessions. That makes the overall experience acceptable for its price, because heating is a common issue in this range. The storage type, however, is still UFS 2.2, which feels outdated compared to UFS 3.1 or 4.0. Faster storage would have helped in app loading, multitasking, and gaming.
I conducted several Benchmark tests on the Vivo T4 Pro to evaluate its accurate performance in various aspects. Its Geekbench CPU scores are 1240 in single-core and 3564 in multi-core. No CPU throttling detected in the test. Moreover, its Antutu score is 1208089. The 3DMark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test for stability has an overall score of 70.4%.
Overall, the Vivo T4 Pro performance is satisfactory, delivering mediocre performance, which is sufficient for daily use and light gaming, but may not be ideal for heavy gamers.
Vivo T4 Pro Software and UI
Vivo T4 Pro runs FunTouch OS 15 on top of Android 15. Animations feel smooth. The UI looks clean. Icons and transitions look polished. I saw fewer cartoonish elements than in older Vivo models.
Vivo promises 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches, so the phone stays current for longer.
It also comes with useful AI features, like a built-in AI Smart Call Assistant gives you live call transcriptions and instant translations. AI Captions helps transcribe meetings. And spam call protection keeps unwanted calls away.
FunTouch OS 15 adds minor tweaks like smoother multitasking. With 12GB RAM plus virtual RAM, you can run multiple apps in the background without needing to reload.
There is bloatware, but many pre-installed apps are removable. I suggest you uninstall them quickly; otherwise, they can slow down your device after multiple updates. While UI is clean and app widgets are pretty smooth, you can customised app placement manually. Overall Vivo T4 Pro UI review is excellent.
After the Vivo T4 Pro review, I can say it is a well-rounded phone that balances design, camera, battery, and display at a reasonable price. It handles daily tasks with ease and offers smooth performance for casual users, though gamers may find the occasional lag disappointing. The software is polished, and the promise of long-term updates adds extra value.
However, Vivo still sticks with older UFS 2.2 storage and bloatware, which could have been avoided. If your priority is style, cameras, and battery life, the T4 Pro is worth considering. But if gaming and raw performance matter most, you might want to explore other options.
Overall, there are several phones in the market with a similar or close to the price, such as the Vivo T4 Ultra, iQOO Neo 10, Motorola Edge 60 Pro, Xiaomi 14 Civi, Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, etc. You can compare the Vivo T4 Pro with these phones before buy. I hope you liked my Vivo T4 Pro review. Thanks for reading.
