The company has already teased the launch of a Mi Notebook in India. It seems like the upcoming laptop will be a rebadged RedmiBook Pro 15. The laptop is expecting to launch next week in India at the Xiaomi Smarter Living event. However, this is not the first time we are seeing leaks and hints of the specs of the laptop. Earlier, the company teased an image confirming that the refresh will offer one feature that remains missing from the 2020 model. The backlit keyboard is that one new awkwardly missing feature in this refreshed model.

Mi Notebook could launch as rebadged RedmiBook Pro 15 in India?

Ahead of the launch, some key details of the upcoming laptop have leaked. It looks like it could launch as a rebadged RedmiBook Pro 15, which was launched earlier this year in China. However, nothing is yet confirmed. Xiaomi is gearing up for the Smart Living 2022 event on August 26. The company will unveil the new laptop at the event alongside the Mi Band 6.

Ahead of the launch, the Mi Notebook specs have leaked online. The laptop aka RedmiBook Pro 15 sports a 15.6-inch display with a 3200 x 2000 resolution. The 3.2K Super Retina display comes with 100 per cent sRGB, 300 nits brightness and DC Dimming. It will also support a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone will feature an Intel 11th-generation processor. It will come in Core i5-11300H and Core i7-11370H processors with 2GB DDR5 Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU/ Intel Iris Xe graphics.

Furthermore, the laptop will come with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD. It runs Windows 10 Home and has a 720p webcam inbuilt. The laptop also comes with a full-size backlit keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel. Mi Notebook has a fingerprint scanner and comes with a large trackpad.

The laptop supports Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6 and comes with a Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C port, a USB Type-C port, a USB 2.0, USB 3.2, 3.5mm jack and an HDMI slot. It packs a 70Wh battery with support for 100W charging. The laptop can charge up to 50 per cent in 35 minutes. We will know more about the laptop as more confirmation comes online.
