Micromax In 2B with 5,000mAh Battery Launched: Price, Specs

Micromax In 2B has launched in India. To recall, it is a successor to the Micromax In 1b that launched last year. Moreover, it is the latest entry-level Android phone that the company claims will not “hang”. Although it is launching under the low-end smartphone market – this is a huge claim. Generally, this segment only focuses on huge batteries and robust calling features over things like performance or lag-free experience.

Furthermore, Micromax has also launched two new truly wireless earbuds, the Airfunk 1 and Airfunk 1 Pro alongside Micromax IN 2B. Let us look at its specifications and pricing:

Micromax IN 2B comes in two memory configurations. The one with 4GB of RAM costs Rs 7,999. Whereas, there is 6GB of RAM available for a price tag of Rs 8,999. The smartphone comes in Blue, Black, and Green colours. The sale of the phone will be on Flipkart and Micromax’s online store.

Micromax IN 2B Specifications

It features a 6.52-inch HD+ waterdrop-style notch display with 400 nits brightness. In addition, it comes with an 89 per cent screen-to-body ratio and a 20:9 aspect ratio. This dual-SIM (Nano) phone runs on Android 11.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Unisoc T610 octa-core SoC. Moreover, Micromax IN 2B pairs with up to 6GB RAM. Its internal storage of 64GB comes with the option to expand further with a microSD card (up to 256GB).

Furthermore, there is a dual rear camera setup on Micromax In 2b that includes a 13-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Camera features include night mode, background portrait, beauty mode, motion photo, play and pause video shoot, and full-HD front and back recording. At the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

Micromax In 2b packs a 5,000mAh battery. It claims to offer up to 160 hours of music playback, up to 20 hours of Web browsing, up to 15 hours of video streaming, and up to 50 hours of talk time. Connectivity options include dual VoWiFi, dual VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5, and USB Type-C port. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back as well as Face ID support for security.
