Motorola launched its latest budget smartphone in India – the Moto G73 5G on Friday, March 10, 2023. The phone comes with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC with 8GB of RAM. Moreover, the Indian variant of the smartphone has slightly different specifications compared to the European variant. The smartphone is a successor to the existing Motorola Moto G72 device.

Moto G73 5G: Price And Availability In India

For the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, the handset costs Rs. 18,999. It is available in Lucent White and Midnight Blue colour options. The handset will go live for sale in the country through Flipkart as well as other retail stores on March 16, 2023.

Moreover, launch offers on the handset include Rs. 2,000 discount for purchases made via selected bank cards. Additionally, no-cost EMI options are available for Axis, HDFC, ICICI and SBI card users starting at Rs. 3,167.


The handset features a 6.5-inch LCD with a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC, along with 8GB of RAM. However, the company has downgraded the display to LCD from the AMOLED panel of the Moto G72 smartphone. The phone runs on Android 13 and includes ThinkShield mobile security for advanced-level protection.

In terms of optics, the handset features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. Along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide macro depth shooter. For selfies and video chats, the handset includes a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.4 lens.

The smartphone also comes with 128GB of onboard storage that supports expansion via microSD card (up to 1TB) through a dedicated slot. Moreover, it packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W TurboPower fast charging. The smartphone also has an IP52 rating which protects the smartphone from water splashes.

It includes stereo speakers with dual microphones and supports connectivity options such as 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, LTEPP, GLONASS, Galileo, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Lastly, it also offers advanced level security through ThinkShield mobile security.
