Nothing Phone (1) was out for sale for the first time in India on July 21, 2022, followed by a second sale on July 30, 2022. The smartphone was sold out both times within a few hours of the sale. According to the maker, the smartphone will be available in India on Friday, August 5, 2022. This new smartphone sports a 6.55-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Nothing Phone 1 Price, Availability

Beginning August 5, 2022 the smartphone will be out for sale exclusively through Flipkart in India. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration costs Rs. 32,999, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB configuration costs Rs. 35,999. The most expensive option is Rs. 38,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Specifications, Features

The smartphone has a 6.55-inch display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC powering the smartphone is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

On the back smartphone boasts a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor. The Nothing Phone (1) has undergone a durability test by well-known YouTuber JerryRigEverything, known for his breakdown and durability videos.

The durability test reveals that the front glass scratches at level 6 and at level 7 with deeper scratches. The screen performed well in the fire test, withstanding the flames without burn marks for 40 seconds before recovering its pixels.
