Gaming smartphones are becoming all the rage these days. Especially as gaming has become a part of daily life on the go. Now, to make the gaming experience even better, OEMs are launching gaming-oriented handsets. Many brands like ASUS, Xiaomi, Realme, and OnePlus are already in the market. However, now it looks like Oppo is also gunning for the same segment. This new leak hints at an Oppo gaming smartphone in the near possible future.

OPPO Gaming Smartphone Design Leaked

In a recent leak, a certification of a nameless OPPO smartphone appears online. It surfaces on the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). However, it does not reveal the model number or the marketing name of the smartphone. Although it does show off the design of the smartphone.

According to the images above, this upcoming handset from OPPO seems to have a design similar to gaming devices like the ASUS ROG Phone 5 and the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro. So, we are assuming that this upcoming device is an OPPO gaming smartphone. The display of the upcoming smartphone does not have a notch or a punch-hole. Instead, the screen has slightly thick bezels at the top. It most probably houses the front-facing camera and other sensors.

Furthermore, the OPPO gaming smartphone has a quad-camera setup at the rear and a unique design pattern on the back panel. To the right, we see a power button and to the left, you have volume rockers. This is all the information we have on the device as of now. We will get to know more about the device as it appears on more certification and benchmarking platforms.
