Samsung is apparently gearing up to launch their Galaxy Z Fold 3 foldable smartphone. The foldable phone alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 3remain in the leaks for quite some time now. The color options and design renders leaked a couple of days ago. Moreover, the phones have surfaced on Geekbench and other certification sites now. However, now in a recent leak, the timeline for the launch of these phones has surfaced online.

Earlier rumors suggest that the launch event will be in August. The rumor mill points to switch between two possible dates for Galaxy Unpacked. A previous report claims that the Samsung event will happen on August 3. However, a new leak from a reliable tipster suggests that the previously leaked date might not be accurate for Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 To Launch on August 11?

According to tipster Tron, he claims that the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked will be happening on August 11. The tipster also shares the list of devices that would be announced at the Unpacked event. Tron claims that the company will unveil its new foldable smartphones. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Flip 3. The tipster further reiterates previous leaks suggesting the launch of the Watch4 series and the Buds2.

Meanwhile, noted tipster Mukul Sharma took to Twitter to reveal that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 surfaced on Geekbench. The key detail is the fact that the smartphone listed on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 888 SoC. This basically confirms that the upcoming foldable smartphone will indeed carry the latest flagship processor by Qualcomm.

Moreover, the smartphone also appeared on the FCC certification website last week. The smartphone bagging certifications at this rate definitely hints at the official launch of the device being sooner than expected.
