After launching the Realme 8 series, the company is apparently working on Realme 8i and Realme 8s. According to tipster Mukul Sharma, he claims that these phones are in development in his tweet. To recall, a phone received TENAA certification with model number RMX2205 in April. Moreover, there were speculations of its’ moniker to be Realme8i. However, another Realme phone with the model number RMX315 has recently received Columbian certification. It also received TKDN, IMEI, and EEC certification recently – which is also speculated to be Realme 8i.

Two different model numbers and one possible moniker is causing a lot of confusion. Although other speculations hint that one could be the Realme 8i and another the Realme 8s. These certifications do not reveal anything apart from the fact that it will have 5G connectivity. It also hints that it could price affordably.

Tipster Mukul Sharma’s tweet is cryptic yet easy enough to decipher. The tweet simply reads “8, i, s” which seems to suggest that the Realme 8 series will soon include the Realme 8i and Realme 8s in India. Meanwhile, the leaked images show it has triple cameras arranged in a rectangular module and ‘Dare to Leap’ branding on the back. It has a punch-hole cutout on the corner. It also has a power button on the right spine, while the volume rocker is on the left. Moreover, it has a physical fingerprint sensor for security and probably an in-display fingerprint sensor, which suggests it will have an AMOLED display. The listing suggests the Realme RMX2205 (Realme 8i) will be a 5G offering that will measure 158.5 x 73.3 x 8.4.

Additionally, another leak suggests Realme 8i features a 6.43-inch display and pack a 4,400mAh battery that may have fast-charging support. It is said to run on Android 11 OS and dual-SIM dual standby support. This is everything we so far know about the Realme8i phone at the moment. However, not much is available on Realme 8s. We will update as we know more.
