Realme Book Slim Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Realme launched its first laptop in India – the Realme Book Slim. After weeks of teasers and leaks, the laptop is finally here. It also launched alongside the official India launch of Realme GT and Master Edition smartphones. However, talking about the laptop, it comes with an interesting design language and a metal body giving it a premium look and feel. Here’s a quick look at the laptop’s price in India and its full specifications.

Pricing, Availability

The Realme Book Slim will start its first sale on 30 August at 12 PM.  The laptop will be made available via Flipkart, realme.com and even from authorizing Realme retailers. Moreover, the laptop is available in two colours: Real Blue and Real Grey. 

In terms of pricing, the Realme Book Slim starts at a price of ₹44,999 for the version with the Intel Core i3 chipset. Whereas, the second variant with Intel Core i5 chipset will cost ₹56,999. However, these are just the introductory prices. Its original prices are ₹46,999 for the i3 chipset model, while the i5 8GB+512GB version is priced at Rs 59,999.

Realme Book Slim Specifications

The laptop comes with a 14-inch 2K Full Vision IPS display with a peak brightness of 400nits. The display comes with a 3:2 aspect ratio. In addition, it will come with a metal body, 90% screen-to-body ratio, 100% sRGB colour gamut. 

They also claim Realme Book Slim will be the slimmest and lightest laptops in India with a thickness of 14.9 mm. Under the hood, it is powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor. It also comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD storage. Moreover, it comes with connectivity options like a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, and one USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 port. The laptop also supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology.

The company claims it can provide up to 11 hours of connectivity. Realme also claims the laptop delivers up to 8.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. The Realme Book Slim houses a 54W battery and supports 65W Super Fast Charge technology that is capable of charging the battery up to 50 per cent in just 30 minutes.

Realme Book Slim runs on Windows 10 and can be upgraded to Windows 11 for free. The laptop comes with a PC Connect feature that lets you control your Realme phone through the laptop. PC Connect allows you to easily transfer files and use mobile applications on the laptop. The Realme Book also comes with a backlit keyboard and a fingerprint power button. The laptop also comes with DTS Dual Speakers backed by Harmon/Kardon.

Meanwhile, Realme Book Slim is 14.9mm thin, which makes it one of the slimmest laptops in India. It also weighs just 1.38 kg, making it lighter than the MacBook Pro.
