Redmi K50 Expected to Launch Soon: What To Expect

This isn’t the first time now, rumours and leaks of Redmi 50 are surfacing online. Although Xiaomi has not revealed anything specific about the smartphone as of now. Earlier leaks hinted that the phone will come with 100W fast charging. The series is expecting to include the standard Redmi K50, a Pro variant, and a Pro Plus variant. Previous rumours also hinted that the phone could launch sometime in Q4 of 2021.

Redmi K50 series specifications tipped

According to recent leak on Weibo, the company is working on three smartphone models in the K50 series. However, these three phones will in essence have differences in terms of camera, charging speed and the chipset. He also adds adds that the K50 Pro+ features an AMOLED E5 panel with a whopping 120W fast charging speed. The upcoming flagship will also have a 100MP (possibly 108MP) primary camera lens.

Meanwhile, Redmi K50 will reportedly have Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. It will also come with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B primary camera sensor. Finally, the Redmi K50 Pro could feature a 50-meagpixel primary camera sensor and the same Samsung E4 AMOLED display panel.

Further, leaks also suggest the device featuring a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120 Hz OLED display. The Redmi K50 will also be powered by Snapdragon 870. A fresh set of information reveals that there will be three models under the K50. The First will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 898 SoC, the second could be powered by the current best Snapdragon 888 chipset and lastly, the final one powered by Snapdragon 870 chip.
