Digital Chat Station reveals the key specifications of the OPPO foldable phone. The noted tipster took to Weibo to post this piece of information. According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming OPPO foldable smartphone will come with a 7.8-inch or an 8-inch display. In addition, the display has also been tipped to come with a 2K resolution. Moreover, we will also be seeing an AMOLED display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate.

On the processor front, the OPPO foldable phone specs will include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. So indeed, the OPPO foldable will be a top of the class premium flagship smartphone, just like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Moving to optics, Digital Chat Station reveals that the upcoming smartphone will come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor. Now, this particular sensor has been widely used in quite a few smartphones. These include the OPPO Reno 7, OnePlus Nord 2 and OnePlus 9 Pro. At the front, the tipster reported that the smartphone will sport a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

Digital Chat Station also tips the upcoming OPPO foldable phone to come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Now, this could be because an in-display fingerprint sensor would definitely not be an ideal choice on a foldable flagship device.
