OnePlus has finally launched their OnePlus 9RT in China today, that is, October 13, 2021. The flagship smartphone comes with flagship-grade specifications at a very attractive price point. It has launched as the latest addition to the OnePlus 9 series of phones.

In India, the series currently has the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 9 Pro under it. Soon and hopefully, we shall get to see the 9RT getting added to the series. Without any further ado, here is a quick rundown of the OnePlus 9RT specs and price.

OnePlus 9RT Price and Availability

OnePlus 9RT Silver

The OnePlus 9RT price in China starts at CNY 3,199 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. Now, this converts to roughly Rs. 37,400 in the Indian currency. Further, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant comes with a price tag of CNY 3,399 which is roughly Rs. 39,800. Lastly, the 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage variant costs CNY 3,699 which is around Rs. 43,200 in the Indian currency.

When it comes to the availability of the device, it has been launched only in China for now. However, the smartphone is expected to make its way to India soon. The smartphone also comes in the Silver and Matte Black colour options. Moreover, if it does launch in the Indian market under the Rs. 40,000 price segment, it will take the market by storm!

Display and Software

Starting off with the display, the newly launched OnePlus 9RT comes with a 6.62-inch full-HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display. In addition, the display also comes with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. We also get to see a touch sampling rate of whopping 600Hz. The display also comes with 100% DCI-P3 coverage along with HDR10+ certification. We can also see a peak brightness of 1300 nits.

When it comes to software, the flagship smartphone runs on Android 11 OS with ColorOS 12 right out of the box. However, if the smartphone launches globally, we will most likely see the OxygenOS instead.

Processor and Performance

On the processor front, the OnePlus 9RT specs include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. This octa-core flagship chipset pairs up with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There are two other variants for the device, an 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB one. In addition, the smartphone also gets 7GB of Dynamic RAM. This feature basically uses part of the internal storage as virtual RAM to further increase performance.

The Snapdragon 888 is paired with the new Vapour Cooling design offers optimal temperatures and a seamless gaming experience. Moreover, the Snapdragon 888 is one of the most powerful processors out there currently. It can handle anything and everything the user throws at it.

Camera Setup

For photos and videos, the OnePlus 9RT specs feature a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 primary sensor alongside a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle secondary sensor. In addition, there is a 2-megapixel sensor in the setup as well. At the front, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

Battery and Connectivity

The OnePlus 9RT packs a 4,500mAh battery along with 65T Warp Charge fast charging support. Moreover, the smartphone most likely sports an in-display fingerprint scanner. However, nothing has been confirmed on that front at the time of writing. In addition, the smartphone comes with 5G connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi and a USB Type-C port for charging purposes.
