Samsung Galaxy S21 FE leaks: The company is considering to introduce a new variant to its Galaxy S-series lineup in India, where it is expected to update the model with the Snapdragon 888 processor. This decision follows the phone’s initial launch by the brand in January last year. Tipster Tarun Vats tweets about the South Korean conglomerate’s plan to launch the Snapdragon 888-powered Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in India in July.
Moreover, the anticipated price for this device is around Rs 40,000. The company appears to have initiated training for its offline retail executives in preparation for the imminent launch.
Company originally unveiled the Galaxy S21 FE with their in-house Exynos 2100 chipset, priced at Rs 54,999. The company’s decision to launch the Snapdragon 888 variant is surprising, but not unprecedented. What adds intrigue is that this launch precedes the global release of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, with leaked images of the device recently surfacing.
Similar Strategy With The Galaxy S20 FE
After launching the Exynos 990 variant of the phone, Samsung introduced the Snapdragon 865-powered Samsung Galaxy S20 FE nearly six months later, in March 2021. The notable difference was that the S20 FE with Snapdragon 865 offers improved performance. It also facilitates 5G connectivity in the market.
