Vivo is gearing up to refresh its V-series of smartphones. Earlier this year, the company launched the V21 series and V23 series in India and other markets. However, one variant from the latter – Vivo V23e did not have a 5G connectivity. But it looks like the company is planning to bring the 5G variant of the V23e device into the market. They now also confirm the launch of the Vivo V23e 5G in India. Earlier, its’ 4G variant launched in Vietnam.  Let’s take a look at the launch, specifications and other details.

Moreover, the landing page is now live on Vivo India’s website. According to a recent leak by tipster Mukul Sharma, the company will be announcing the Vivo V23e 5G in the coming week. Now, a fresh leak by MySmartPrice has revealed the colour variants of the smartphone for the Indian market.

Vivo V23e 5G launch confirmed

The launch of V23e 5G in India is confirmed by the company via a tweet and a dedicated microsite on the official website. As mentioned, neither of the two reveals the exact launch date for the upcoming smartphone. However, tipster Mukul Sharma hints that the smartphone will launch in India on February 21, 2022.

Separately, tipster Yogesh Brar claims that the phone will be priced between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000 in India. However, the exact pricing details remain unknown. Considering that the Vivo V23 launched in India for Rs. 29,990, we can expect the Vivo V23e 5G to be priced slightly lower than the premium model.

Vivo V23e 5G Specifications

Coming to the specifications, the Vivo V23e 5G runs on FunTouch OS 12. It comes with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display. The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC paired with 8GB RAM. Apart from the 128GB Internal storage option, the phone is further expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.

The predecessor model is powered by the Dimensity 700 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. But we can expect the phone to come with a Dimensity 810 SoC. The phone could also support 44W fast charging at least. We will keep you updated as more leaks and news comes in.
