Vivo has increased the prices of their Vivo Y12s and Vivo Y1s 2GB variant models in India. Additionally, the company also gave the Y1s a 3GB variant on Tuesday. The updated prices of the devices have already been implemented and are applicable via the various e-commerce platforms in the country. Moreover, the offline retail stores will also sell these two devices at the new prices from now on.
The 2GB variant of the Vivo Y1s was launched back in 2020. On the other hand, the Vivo Y12s was launched in January.
Price Hikes
The Vivo Y1s 2GB variant has received a price hike of Rs. 500 in India. This brings the updated price of the Y12s to Rs. 10,490 from Rs. 9,990. Similarly, the Vivo Y1s 2GB variant price in India goes up to Rs. 8,490 from Rs. 7,990. The new prices of these two devices reflect on their listed price in all e-commerce platforms including Amazon and Flipkart.

Vivo Y12s Specifications
The Vivo Y12s features a large 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD display. Additionally, the display on the smartphone comes with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The smartphone runs on Android 10 with the Funtouch OS 11 custom skin on top.
On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC. This octa-core chipset is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the internal storage is also expandable via a microSD card slot.
For photos and videos, the Vivo Y12s comes with a dual rear camera setup. The setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Additionally, these two sensors come with apertures of f/2.2 and f/2.4, respectively.

The smartphone also comes with all the important connectivity options. These include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio and a Micro-USB port. One can also find the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack on the device. Furthermore, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
Lastly, the Vivo Y12s packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. The device comes with dimensions of 164.41×76.32×8.41mm and weighs 191 grams.
Vivo Y1s Specifications
The Vivo Y1s comes with a big 6.22-inch HD+ display. Additionally, the display on the smartphone comes in a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The smartphone runs on Android 10 with the Funtouch OS 10.5 custom skin on top.
On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The octa-core chipset is now paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the internal storage on the handset is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

When it comes to the cameras, the Vivo Y1s features a sole13-megapixel sensor at the back. Additionally, this single sensor comes with an aperture of f/2.2. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Vivo Y1s comes with dual-SIM slots as well. Lastly, the smartphone packs a big 4,030mAh battery with standard charging.
