Vivo has successfully established itself as one of the top manufacturers when it comes to the entry-level, mid-range and budget smartphone segment in the Indian smartphone market. Although Vivo is known for its selfie cameras, now they have evolved successfully and managed to serve the consumers with a whole package. Now the smartphone brand has come up with a new device, the Vivo Y1s under the Y series belonging to the affordable price range. So here are the features discussed one by one for giving you a brief idea about this smartphone.
Vivo Y1s Price in India
Vivo has launched the Vivo Y1s in two RAM variants, 2GB and 3GB and there is 32GB of internal storage available with this device. The affordable handset is priced at Rs.7,990. It comes in colour variants, Aurora Blue and Olive Black. The price tag is too high for the given specs when compared with the smartphones from the same price bracket.
Vivo Y1s is one of the nice looking smartphones available in the Indian smartphone market at an entry-level price tag. There is gradient back panel and the device is measuring 155.11 x 75.09 x 8.28 mm while it weighs just 161 grams. Vivo Y1s is designed with a rounded plastic frame, which makes this smartphone secure and comfortable to hold. On the front side, Vivo Y1s is fully covered by the HD+ display, featuring a U shaped notch on the top.
On the rear side, Vivo Y1s is mounted with a single camera setup, which is placed on the top left side and there is no fingerprint sensor included with the device. So the rear panel appears neat and clean.
Speaking of the power button and volume buttons, they are placed on the right side and the bottom side is featuring the USB 2.0 port, speaker grille and the audio jack.
Vivo Y1s comes with a 6.22-inch Halo FullView display, featuring a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The HD+ display comes with a thick chin along with slim bezels. For providing a pleasant view for both videos and games, the screen to body ratio has been kept as 88.6%. Also, there are provisions for filtering out the harmful blue light for preventing the straining of eyes.
Vivo Y1s features a standard budget MT6765 processor. The smartphone is available in two RAM variants 2GB and 3GBGB and the internal storage is 32GB respectively. For multitasking and smooth functioning, the processor is a decent one, but this is not meant for gaming.
The software on which Vivo Y1s is running is the Funtouch OS 10.5, which is based on the Android 10. The full-screen navigation gestures and quick access settings like switches for Wi-Fi, Aeroplane mode, brightness control and multiple other features make this OS worthwhile.
Vivo Y1s is mounted with a single camera setup on the rear side, featuring a 13MP main lens with an aperture of f/2.2. There is a 5MP selfie shooter on the front side with an aperture of f/1.8. Some of the photography features that you will be getting include Photo, Beauty, Video and Time Lapse. There is no special thing about this section; there is a basic camera setup that has been included with this device.
Vivo Y1s offers a 4030 mAh battery, which is enough to provide a battery backup for the whole day as it comes with smart power management as per the company. There is no support for fast charging. So it will take a lot of time to refill the battery.
Vivo Y1s is a decent smartphone with a good battery backup and stunning design for an entry-level smartphone. If it’s ok for you to ignore the camera department and you are not a heavy gamer, Vivo Y1s is not a bad deal at the given price.
