Just a few days ago, we got to know that the Xiaomi 12 series will be “coming soon”. Now, the Xiaomi 12 Pro model in the series has surfaced online once again. Previously, the screen protector for the device leaked online. In addition, the leak suggested the key display details of the smartphone ahead of the official launch. Now, the latest one revolves around the display features of the Pro model. According to a new report, the Pro model could feature an under-screen front camera.

Xiaomi 12 Pro might have an under-screen camera?
To recall, Xiaomi’s own Mi MIX 4 is one of the first to come with an under-screen camera tech. But it looks like the Camera Under Panel (CUP) tech might come on the Xiaomi 12 series. This particular information comes from the MIUI 13 source code. According to XiaomiUI, the report states that the Pro model might feature the Camera Under Panel (CUP) tech to the Xiaomi 12 series.

Meanwhile, a teaser video of MIUI 13, reveals a phone with an all-screen design. It further states that the device has a quad-curved display. However, the top and bottom bezel will be marginally thicker than the Mi 11 series. The report further states that the Xiaomi 12 Pro might feature a piezoelectric speaker like the original Mi MIX since there is no physical earpiece in the device showcased in the video.
Previous leaks hint that the display size of the device will be 6.67-inch. Moreover, since it is a flagship device, we can expect to see a QHD+ display. In addition, a fast refresh rate panel will also most likely come along. Going by the screen guard images, we can see a centrally aligned punch-hole notch design on the display.

Further, from the looks of it, we will be seeing extremely slim bezels on the device. The punch-hole notch design in itself is very small as well. We can also see curved edges on the screen protector which does suggest the Xiaomi 12 Pro features a curved display. However, it seems to be more subtle than the Xiaomi Mi 11 model, which is a good thing.
