Xiaomi has been quite active in introducing 5G, Flagship devices in 2020 which clearly shows its intentions to grab a stronghold even in the premium smartphone segment. After launching the Mi 10 series, Xiaomi has recently unveiled the Mi 11 in China. The latest flagship from Xiaomi boasts Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. Coming with a 108MP triple rear-camera module, the phone isn’t just a technical powerhouse, but it also gets premium hardware such as a glass sandwich design.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Price in India
Xiaomi has introduced the Mi 11 in China at a starting price of RMB 3,999 (approx. Rs.45,000) but there is no update on its arrival in India yet. Xiaomi Mi 11 price in India is expected to be around Rs.44,900 as another flagship offering by the Chinese brand.
Xiaomi Mi 11 brings in an all-glass with and an aluminium frame that promises a premium feel in hand. There is also a leather-back variant that Xiaomi has to offer. The back gets Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top along with a peculiar rectangular camera bump at the top left corner. Despite such a big battery and a glass body, the device weighs just 196g.
Along with the camera, the back panel also has Xiaomi branding. The button placement is simple with both the power button and volume rockers being placed at the right-hand side. The USB Type C charging port is placed at the bottom along with the speaker grille. At the top is where we find the second speaker grille, for stereo speakers, sitting alongside the IR blaster. Talking about the glass-back variant, you can choose between Midnight Gray, Horizon Blue and Frost White colour options whereas Lilac Purple and Honey Beige are the available offerings for the Vegan Leather variant.
Xiaomi Mi 11 has a gorgeous AMOLED quad-curve DotDisplay which comes with TrueColor. The panel boasts a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate for a smoother appearance. With a sizable 6.81-inch WQHD+ display boasting 1440 by 3200-pixel resolution, the device gets a trendy punch hole housing the selfie camera. The flagship smartphone has a 480Hz touch sampling rate along with a peak brightness of 1500 nits.
Boosting the display configuration further is Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection along with SGS Eye Care Display Certification and HDR 10+ support.
Powering the Xiaomi Mi 11 is the latest and high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset which is paired with Adreno 660 GPU. The powertrain also consists of LPDDR5 8/12GB of RAM and comes in two UFS 3.1 storage variants- 128GB and 256GB. The 5G smartphone is one of the first devices to boast the latest chipset from Qualcomm that is using the most advanced 5nm process.
Talking about the software, the Xiaomi Mi 11 runs Android 11 operating system topped with MIUI 12.5 user interface.
Xiaomi flagships have mostly been camera-centric devices and so is the case with the Mi 11. The camera setup of Mi 11 is surely one of the key areas which would attract any buyer. So, the back, the device has a triple-camera setup which consists of a 108MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 123-degree FOV and f/2.4 aperture. Lastly, there is a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera is capable of recording 8K videos is also paired with Dual-LED dual-tone flash.
At the front is a 20MP selfie camera which comes with support for Full-HD video recording at 30fps.
The battery configuration of the Xiaomi Mi 11 is really impressive, thanks to the versatile charging capabilities that the device boasts. So, the device provides a 4600mAh battery with support for 55W proprietary fast charging. Xiaomi claims that the Mi 11 gets fully charged in about 45 minutes. The device also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+. Talking about wireless charging, the Mi 11 gets a whooping 50W Fast wireless charging support and also boasts 10W Reverse wireless charging capabilities.
Xiaomi Mi 11, comes up as a great overall package that is not only powerful but also brings in all those aesthetic feels. Compared to other 5G flagship phones, the device does offer more than what you are paying for with its outstanding performance being the USP. Be it the powerful internals, a versatile camera system, a stunning display or the efficient battery configuration, the device checks all the boxes that you can expect with a device of this price tag.
