Xiaomi confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is launching in 2021. It is a premium offering aiming at providing maximum screen estate within the phone’s form factor. Moreover, CEO, Lei Jun, talked at length about Xiaomi’s plans for the year. Additionally, the company plans on resurrecting its tablet lineup. The launch can also be expected in 2021.

However, there are no confirmations anywhere. If it does launch, it will be the first smartphone in 3 years considering its experimental premium series tag. It is nearly three years after the Mi MIX 3 unveiled. Right now there are many leaks and specifications going all over the place on the internet for Xiaomi Mi Mix 4. One such report is claiming that the device will come with an amazing display design. On the other hand, another leak dealing with the battery and charging details of the device has surfaced online.

A new report from China claims that the device will come with BM58 batteries with a rated capacity of 5,000mAh. Furthermore, the report adds that the smartphone will come with support for 120W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging support. Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will have the highest fast charging support in any of the flagship smartphones – if it is true.

Moreover, the report is in line with the previous report about the device passing 3C certification. It revealed that the phone will pack 2,430mAh dual-cell batteries. The phone is expected to the next-generation Mi MIX series device. Although we are not sure of what it can feature in terms of specifications. But we can Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 to have some special or premium features under its fold. Apparently, the device is reportedly going to use an under-display front camera, without compromising on the overall display quality.

According to a previous Weibo post, it will apparently cost more than the Mi 11 Ultra. The latter costs Rs 69,999 right now so the Mix 4 should cost more than this. This squarely puts the device in the premium flagship territory. However, as of now, this is just speculations and rumors – until confirmation we will wait and watch.
