The Tecno Phantom X2 will likely release in India shortly. Pre-orders for the smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9,000 SoC will begin on Amazon on January 2, with the device going on sale on January 9. The Tecno Phantom X2 and Tecno Phantom X2 Pro were revealed recently in the UAE. The Tecno Phantom X2 includes a display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a triple back camera array led by a 64-megapixel primary sensor. Moreover, the smartphone will have a 5,160mAh battery that supports 45W rapid charging.

On Monday, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer teased the Tecno Phantom X2 5G’s upcoming India debut on Twitter. The smartphone will be available for pre-order on Amazon on January 2, 2022, and sale on January 9, 2022. The Tecno Phantom X2 5G’s exact launch date and India pricing are yet to be confirmed.

Separately, Amazon has set up a separate homepage on its website to promote the Phantom X2’s debut in India. Earlier this month, the 5G smartphone was released in Saudi Arabia for SAR 2699 (about Rs. 59,200) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option. It is available in Moonlight Silver and Stardust Grey.

Tecno Phantom X2 specifications

The Tecno Phantom X2, 5G characteristics have previously been revealed from the global launch. It runs Android 12-based HiOS 12 and has a 6.8-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will have a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.

Furthermore, the device features a triple rear camera arrangement that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 13-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor. A 32-megapixel camera is available for selfies and video calls. Moreover, it will have a 5,160mAh battery and supports 45W rapid charging.
