Nokia G20 Price in India
The lone 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option of the Nokia G20 is priced at Rs.12,999. It comes in two colour schemes including Glacier and Night. Both the Nokia G10 and the Nokia G20 feature almost the same design. The design language isn’t particularly appealing, but it’s also not particularly basic. There is a stylish display with a water-drop notch and a thick chin, though it shouldn’t have been there. The bezels around the edges are minimum.
Nokia G20’s design on the back is similar to the C series smartphones that were launched alongside the G series. A circular camera module is located in the top centre, and the pattern on the back ensures a secure grip.
A side-mounted fingerprint motor is attached to the power button for biometric authentication. Along with the volume rocker, it has been put on the right side. A 3.5 mm headphone jack is located on the top edge, while a Type-C charging port is located on the bottom edge.
Nokia G20 boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ display on the front for offering decent visuals. The only thing that stands out here is the display’s scale and the big 20:9 aspect ratio. With a 720-pixel resolution, lower pixel density, and no refresh rate, the rest of the features are outdated. The screen is mounted with a 2.5D cover glass, which doesn’t make it any special though.
Nokia G20 comes with the MediaTek G35 featuring hyper engine technology. The processor is clubbed with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. You can expand the internal storage up to 512GB via an external SD card. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS and Beidou. As for the software, here comes the improvement, the Nokia G10 runs on Android 11.
As compared to Nokia C20, Nokia has provided a bit extra in terms of camera. On the rear, Nokia has provided Nokia G20 with a 48MP Quad-camera setup, featuring a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera setup is provided with an LED flash. Here you are getting an 8MP front camera for capturing selfies, but the front flash is missing.
There is a large battery as compared to the C series smartphones, which is a significant improvement. Yes, Nokia G20 features a large 5050 mAh battery for ensuring a day-long battery backup. However, the fast charging feature is missing in this handset as well. But to the relief, Nokia has mounted the Type-C charging port for connecting the charger.
Nokia G20 is an affordable below average smartphone with a 720-pixel display, poor configuration display at the given price point and is lacking many present-day features. If there is anything that favours the Nokia G10, it’s the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 48MP Quad-rear camera setup and a 5050 mAh battery. If you are ok with this, you can go with the Nokia G20, otherwise, look for something better.
