OnePlus, the age-old flagship killer of the market, is known for its value-for-money offerings. This is in a world of iPhones and Samsungs that were priced significantly higher. However, that trend has recently changed. Now, the company is moving towards an approach rather similar to Samsung, with its offerings also foregoing that tag of the flagship killer.

In recent times, OnePlus has chosen the approach of a more generic flagship offering that competes toe-to-toe with offerings from other brands. This is without severely undercutting them by omitting one or two key features.

That being said, a new bundle that OnePlus recently announced has got the market in a frenzy. Owing to the value that it seemingly offers. Here is all you need to know about the new OnePlus Ensemble bundle, which, despite seeming to be costly, offers a great ton of value.

What is the OnePlus Ensemble Bundle?

Before we discuss what exactly the OnePlus Ensemble Bundle entails, it is important to know the price and offers that are applicable to this bundle. The OnePlus Ensemble Bundle, which consists of the OnePlus 11, the company’s latest flagship, with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and the OnePlus Pad, with 12+256GB storage. And this OnePlus Ensemble Bundle retails for Rs 1,13,997.

It is worth noting that all the devices are available in varying shades of green, with the smartphone coming in the External Green shade, the Buds in Arbor Green and finally, the OnePlus Pad in Halo Green. The bundle can be availed with an Instant Bank Discount of Rs 4,000 as well if you have an ICICI Bank Card or a OneCard, with 24 months of No Cost EMI also available to the buyer.

If we look at it from a value perspective, the current retail prices of all three devices amount to Rs 1,13,990. This is the same price of the bundle but if we apply the offers, then it is a good value proposition.

The biggest benefit is without a doubt the option of the 24-month No-Cost EMI on offer, with all leading banks supporting this option when it comes to the OnePlus Ensemble Bundle.

Why would one not buy the Ensemble Bundle, especially if they are an ardent lover of the OnePlus ecosystem? First of all, the buyer gets three different tech gadgets, with earbuds being common these days, a smartphone has become a bare essential and a tablet being a decent addition for those looking to be productive.

OnePlus 11

OnePlus 11

To begin with, OnePlus offers the OnePlus 11, its current-gen flagship as part of the bundle. The OnePlus 11 comes equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Gen 2 SoC, which is one of the most powerful chipsets available in the market. To complement this performance is a gorgeous 6.7-inch AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. This is an LTPO 3.0 unit, meaning that the display has variable refresh rate support without impacting the battery life of the handset.

Optics-wise, the device sports a primary 50MP IMX890 sensor from Sony, complete with Optical Image Stabilisation or OIS. This is further complemented by a 48MP SonyIMX581 sensor for ultra-wide duties.

There is also a  32MP IMX709 sensor that offers telephoto capabilities and comes with Hasselblad Portrait mode, owing to the company’s partnership with OnePlus. For selfies, there is a 16MP shooter. The device comes with a massive 5,000 mAh battery with rapid 100W charging.

OnePlus has also promised 4 years of software updates for the flagship, bringing it on par with offerings from Samsung and Google. The device runs OxygenOS on top of Android 13.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2

OnePlus Buds Pro 2

Next up is the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, a premium pair of earbuds that are a second-gen offering from the brand. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 offers 39 hours of battery life, coupled with a charging case. The earbuds come with dual dynamic drivers, of 11mm and 6mm. There is also a custom EQ profile that is the handy work of Hans Zimmer.

The earbuds feature Adaptive Noise Cancellation or ANC, which, according to the company offers blockage of up to 48 db of external noise. There is also a dedicated Transparency mode, which lets ambient sound pass through. Individually, each earbud offers 9 hours of battery life, with the earbuds as a whole (with the case) offering 25 hours of battery life with ANC on and 39 hours of charge with ANC turned off.

The earbuds have Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and come with Google’s Fast Pair, which allows the earbuds to pair instantly without having to push any button, much like how Apple’s AirPods magically pair with your iPhone. There is an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, and the earbuds also offer Spatial Audio in collaboration with Google.

OnePlus Pad

OnePlus Pad

Last, but not least is the OnePlus Pad, the company’s first attempt at making a tablet that can act as a disrupter in the premium Android tablet space, a market which has, over the years seen a dominance of Samsung offerings.

The OnePlus Pad is offered with an 11.6-inch display, with 144Hz refresh rate support and a resolution of FHD+. Do note that this is an LCD panel with a peak brightness of just 500 nits, so you might not be completely satisfied with the outdoor viewing experience. For performance, the tablet relies on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 SoC, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

In terms of the camera setup there is a 13MP rear sensor that comes with support for Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) and can shoot videos at 30fps. For calls and selfies, users will have to rely on an 8MP front shooter. There is only a Wi-Fi variant on offer, so if you were hoping to get a SIM for your tablet, the OnePlus Pad will not meet your needs.

The OnePlus Pad is 6.5mm thick, owing to a massive 9,510 mAh battery which can be juiced up via the company’s proprietary 65W SuperVOOC charging tech. The tablet does not feature a 3.5mm jack, so the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will probably come in handy when watching a movie on the tablet.
