The Oppo A95 is the latest smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer to make its way to Malaysian shores. This implies that you will not be able to purchase it in India for the time being, but it is probable that Oppo will introduce the phone to the Indian market in the near future. With just a 4G connection, the A95 is a scaled-down version of the A95, which has 5G connectivity as well. This new smartphone is in the mid-range price category, but it lacks important characteristics like a fast refresh rate, which are essential for gaming. Check out all the features below. 

Oppo A95 price in India

In Malaysia, the Oppo A95 costs MYR 1,099 (about Rs 19,600) for its single configuration, which includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is available in two colour options: Starry Black and Rainbow Silver. For the time being, it will only be accessible in Malaysia via online buying platforms, and there is no indication of when it would be offered in Indian markets.

OPPO A95 Design

The OPPO A95’s design is rather straightforward. It sports the same matte finish with dazzling glitter aesthetic as the OPPO Reno 6Z, which is a nice nod to the earlier phone. In addition to the curved edges on the back of the phone, the camera module looks really fashionable. The face of the phone has a punch-hole in the upper left corner, a hefty chin, and visible bezels on the sides and edges. 

The Oppo A95 is the smallest and lightest smartphone available, measuring only 7.95mm in thickness and 175 grammes in weight. The gadget is equipped with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the display for biometric authentication purposes.

The OPPO A95 is equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a pixel density of 409 pixels per inch (ppi) to provide rich and sharp pictures. In addition to the bezel-less design, the display boasts a 20:9 aspect ratio and an ambient punch-hole design.

OPPO A95 Performance

As opposed to the MediaTek chipset included in the previously introduced Oppo A95 5G, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset is combined with an Adreno 610 graphics processor in the OPPO A95. The smartphone has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. Pre-installed with ColorOS 11.1 on top of Android 11 out of the box, the OPPO A95 5G is a strong smartphone. Only 4G networks are supported at this time.

OPPO A95 Camera

The OPPO A95 is equipped with a triple rear camera system that combines a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor with LED illumination. An excellent 16MP front-facing camera is included with this smartphone. A number of capabilities, including as auto flash, autofocus, bokeh effect, continuous shooting, exposure compensation, face identification, geo-tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), ISO power, Time Lapse, Touch to focus, and White balance settings, are included in the camera’s specification.

OPPO A95 Verdict

The processing power along with storage capacity and the battery back-up and charging speed is commendable in the Oppo A95 smartphone and if these are the features you are looking for then this might be a good choice. However, there is a normal refresh rate display and the camera setup is not that good here along with the absence of the 5G connectivity. So, if these are the specs in your priority list, then you may look for something else.
