Launched in the first month of 2020, the Oppo F15 carries a plastic unibody form, which is light -weighted and comfortable to operate with a single hand. It has a lustrous rear that holds the quad-camera setup. 

The Oppo F15 features a 6.4″ AMOLED FHD+ display with 1080×2400 pixels screen resolution. With a thickness of 7.9mm and 172g weight, the phone is quite easy to handle and feels light. It runs on Color OS 6.1, on top of the Android 9.0. The 8GB RAM storage is powered by MT6771V Helio P70 chipset. The Oppo F15 holds a waterdrop notch front display that carries the 16 MP front camera. It has a 48 MP quad-camera rear setup which is slightly elevated to prevent scratches on the rear side. It provides satisfying battery power with 4025 mAh Li-Po battery capacity and an excellent fast charging feature.

Oppo F15 surfaced on the internet and in the Indian smartphone market in a single variant belonging to the affordable section. The lone variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is currently priced at Rs. 18,990 on Flipkart. Oppo F15 was launched by the Chinese smartphone company in two colour options including the Blazing Blue and the Lightning Black. Although the current Oppo F15 price is available, the smartphone is sold out on almost all the shopping platforms.

The design is a demanding selling proposal of this model. The glistening backside with the metallic frame and a plastic coating provides a unique, attractive look and hence appears well with the youngsters and what they want. The Oppo F15 has the power button placed on its right side, and the left side of the phone has the dual SIM slot and the volume buttons. The phone adorns its bottom section with the loudspeakers, an audio jack of 3.5mm and the type-C charging port. The colours in which it markets itself, surface elegant and classy with the polished and shiny exterior. 

Having a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 16.26 cm screen size, the Oppo F15 has a multitouch, captivating AMOLED HD touchscreen that offers smooth and quick features. The display of this model is one of the striking features that it provides. It has Corning Gorilla Glass v5 glass protection and a waterdrop notch bezel-less display. The front-display has the in-built fingerprint sensor, which is approximately 40% faster in processing than the previous model. Other sensors the Oppo F15 features are Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope.

The Oppo F15 runs on the Android 9.0, Pie operating system, and is powered by the Helio P70, Octa-Core, 2 GHz Processor. The model has Mali- G72 MP3 graphics processing and 8 GB RAM storage. It has a further 128 GB inbuilt storage and provides the user added feature to hold a memory card that supports up to 256 GB. The phone’s processor and operating system make for an overall smooth operation in gaming and regular usage. There is no visible sluggishness in terms of performance while multitasking through various applications or running along with high usage gaming installations. A disappointment with Android 10 comes with the price tag.

Similar to other smartphones in the range, the Oppo F15 has connectivity features like 802.11, ac/b/g/n/n 5GHz WiFi, v4.2 Bluetooth, A-GPS, Glonass, Volte, and more. 

The Oppo F15 features quad camera, aligned vertically on the backside of its frame. The primary sensor is a 48MP one with f/1.7 aperture. It has a wide-angle 8MP sensor that can double as the macro sensors. The other additional sensors stationed are a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP monochrome. The front screen holds the 16 MP selfie camera. The 48 MP camera provides good quality, 8000 x 6000 Pixels image resolution. 

It has an LED flash and the video recording has the 1920×1080 @ 30 fps, 1280×720 @ 30 fps specs. The Oppo F15 specs in-camera imaging covers Continuous Shooting, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR) shooting modes along with  Face detection autofocus (wide-lens feature), and Exposure compensation with ISO control setting. The camera presents a decent image with less light exposure and hence is unsuitable for low-light image captures. The selfie camera captures do not provide a striking result.

The Oppo F15 does not provide any outstanding features on the battery specifications. It is powered by a 4,000mAh cell and has an excellent charging highlight. You can run all your Netflix and Amazon content along with various multitasking operations for a day-long and still be satisfied. It can charge up to fifty percent in about half an hour and is the right call for what most of the youth demands.

The final verdict would not be obliging the Oppo F15 features. The approximate 20K price is high for the return value. With an almost saturated market, the user can get any phone with comparable features at a lower price and hence does not identify a competition slot. The excellent design and appearance, lightweight, and quick charging would make a secure sell.
