Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus price in India
Samsung has launched a vast number of smartphones for catering the users from entry-level to flagship range. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is yet another flagship device from the brand. As compared to the Galaxy S20 Plus, that was launched last year, there are fewer changes when we look at the front side of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus. The latest one has got a little heavier and wider size, but that doesn’t affect anything. The smartphone is well balanced and every inch of it gives it a premium look.
When we flip the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus, there is a camera set up merging into the body and offers a new look. The camera bump appears better in real life than what we have seen in the pictures that were leaked earlier. Samsung has launched this device in three colours, Phantom Black, Phantom Silver and the Phantom Violet. The rear panel is made of glass and features a matte finish, which is there to keep the fingerprint stains to the lowest.
On the right side, there is the power button along with the volume rocker, while the bottom side is featuring space for the SIM tray, speaker grille and the USB Type-C charging port. On top, there is one more speaker. The wireless charging and the reverse wireless charging are enabled by the glass back. While as there is an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
The display size of 6.7-inches is same as we have seen in the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus. However, Samsung has restricted the maximum resolution of the display from QHD that we have seen in the S20 Plus to Full HD+ only. When compared with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, the major difference is the absence of the S-Pen in the S21 Plus. Thankfully, Samsung has retained the 120Hz refresh rate in this new device.
In the US, the Samsung Galaxy S21 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 under the hood. For other countries outside of the US and in India, the smartphone packs Samsung’s Exynos 2100 processor. The chipset has been clubbed with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. With an enhanced game booster, 120Hz refresh rate screen and 5G connectivity, the smartphone is capable of providing boss-level gaming experience.
As for the operating system, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus runs on the Android 11 with Samsung’s OneUI 3.1 on top of it. The major changes brought here include Google feed instead of Samsung daily and Google messages instead of Samsung’s messaging app.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus has got a camera bump like what we have seen in the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, but instead of jotting out, there is a seamless piece of metal that smoothly flows from the metal rails of the phone on to the back and the spiffy two-tone design gives the rear-camera module a good look.
As for the rear camera setup, there is a 12MP Wide lens, 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 64MP telephoto lens along with a 10MP selfie camera in that hole-punch on the front panel. Now, if this sounds familiar to you, it’s because that these are virtually identical at least hardware-wise to the cameras on the last year’s S20 and S20 Plus. That said, Samsung promises a few improvements like AI processing, Exynos 2100 chipset’s ISP capabilities and some new features. So, there are some things to look forward to.
For video shooting, Samsung has introduced a new feature, which enables a user to record videos simultaneously from multiple cameras.
In the Galaxy S21 Plus, Samsung has raised the battery capacity from 4500 mAh to 4800 mAh. The 4500 mAh battery was seen in the s20 Plus. A combination of this battery with the power-efficient makes this section far better than its predecessor. Furthermore, the smartphone supports Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 and supports Wireless PowerShare for charging your buds, Watch or even friends phone.
Just a couple of years ago, Samsung launched the Plus model in the Galaxy S20 line up and which was a flagship smartphone, but after revealing the S20 ultra, the Plus model took a backseat. Here the gap has widened more with the S21 series and it appears that Samsung is pushing the users to go for the Ultra edition. It becomes hard to recommend the S20 Plus, considering the last year’s S20 Plus has got nearly the same camera setup and display size. Although the S21 Plus has a larger battery and a better chipset, anyone looking for either of those should go with the S21 Ultra, which is at the top in every way.
