The Vivo V21e 5G is meant for the mid-range category and comes with slight improvements. It is 5G-ready and powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity SoC with 8GB of RAM. Here’s all you need to know before making any decision.

Vivo v21e 5G Price in India

The design is almost the same as in the case of the V20 series or Vivo V21. Although it doesn’t come with square sides, however, you won’t get a punch-hole design on the front, instead, there is a U-shaped notch at the top centre for housing the selfie camera. Also, there is the same gradient finish on the rear along with the same camera module, but here you have got a dual-camera setup instead of a triple camera arrangement.
For unlocking the device, Vovo has provided an in-display fingerprint sensor and at the bottom, the Vivo V21e 5G features a speaker grille along with a Type-c charging port and a SIM tray. The power button and the Volume rocker are there on the right edge at a suitable location. While holding the Vivo V21e 5G for the first time, it will appear slim and lightweight with 7.6mm thickness and 167 grams of weight.
Speaking of the display, Vivo V21e 5G flaunts a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution. However, the higher refresh rate has been skipped here. Overall the display quality is the same as in the case of other Vivo smartphones.
Vivo V21e 5G is equipped with the Mali G57 GPU and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The smartphone includes 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM as well as the Extended RAM functionality. This implies that the Vivo V21e 5G will be able to borrow RAM from its internal storage to provide quicker functionality when multitasking. The smartphone has 128GB of internal storage that can be extended using a microSD card.
Vivo V21e 5G has dual-band Wi-Fi, 5G, LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector for connectivity. In addition, the smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11.1 on top.
Coming to the cameras, Vivo V-series is known for its cameras, however, the Vivo V21e 5G comes with a dual rear camera setup only, in which there is a 64MP primary sensor, which does not support OIS, followed by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Instead of this 8MP sensor, it would have been much better to provide a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, if the two 2MP sensors were meant to be excluded.
As for selfies, there is a 32MP front camera which is a downgrade in comparison to the Vivo V20, which was equipped with a 44MP selfie camera.
Vivo V21e 5G has a 4,000mAh battery that supports 44W rapid charging, which is an excellent improvement over its predecessors. According to the company, it can be charged from zero to 72 per cent in just 30 minutes.
If you are looking for a slim and lightweight 5G smartphone then the Vivo V21e 5G is best for you. However, if you are looking for better performance, then there are other options available in the market like the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, however, it doesn’t feature 5G, while the rest of the features are better than the Vivo V21e 5G.
