Vivo Y21s Launch in India

Vivo Y21s has been released in Indonesia. The phone is a spin-off of the Vivo Y21, which was released in India last month. The phone’s specs are nearly identical to those of the Vivo Y21, with the exception of CPU and camera changes. Let’s get started with the Vivo Y21s to know what exactly it has got for the users. 

Vivo Y21s Price in India 

IDR 2,799,000 (approximately Rs. 14,400) is the pricing for the only 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the new Vivo Y21s. In Midnight Blue and Pearl White, it is available for purchase. Shopee is the only place where you can buy the Vivo Y21s for now. Vivo Y21s launch in India and international availability hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

Vivo Y21s Design

Vivo Y21s’s main selling point is its design, which boasts an 8.0mm thickness and a weight of 182 grammes, making it one of the thinnest and lightweight smartphones. The front panel features a v-shaped notch at the top and a pronounced chin at the bottom, as is customary. The backside has a gleaming finish, as well as a square-shaped camera module and business logo.

The shell is composed of plastic and Y21s lacks IP certification and Gorilla Glass on both sides. On the right side of the smartphone, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

Vivo Y21s Display

The Vivo Y21s is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G80 gaming processor, which is capable of delivering respectable performance in gaming applications. Vivo offers 4GB of RAM, which can be increased by 1GB, and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of software and connectivity, the Vivo Y21s comes with Funtouch OS 11.1, which is based on Android 11 and supports 4G bands only.

Vivo Y21s Camera

In addition to the CPU, the camera department of the Vivo Y21s has been improved. A 50MP triple rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor and two 2MP sensors is now available. With the primary 50MP sensor, you can anticipate a standard photographic experience. The same 8MP sensor is used for the front camera, which is hidden under the V-shaped notch.

Vivo Y21s Battery

The battery section of Vivo Y21s remains unchanged. The same 5000 mAh battery is used to manage power requirements, and it is capable of providing enough power backup. Also, the 18W rapid charging capability has remained consistent. There is a Type-C charging port for connecting the charger.

The latest Vivo Y21s has got an upgraded chipset and cameras over the Vivo Y21. For those who are looking for a slim design, average performance and the best photography experience at the given price tag, then you may think of going with the Vivo Y21s. However, the absence of 5G and the display quality is absurd here, which makes it unfit for most of the users in India.
