To recap, the Redmi 10’s replacement was released in China last month. Consider the Redmi 10A pricing in India, launch deals, specs, and features in further detail.
Redmi 10a Price in India
The Redmi 10A is available in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB versions. The basic model of the smartphone costs 8,499, while the 4GB + 64GB model costs 9,499. It will be accessible exclusively on Amazon and Mi.com beginning on April 26.
Redmi 10a Design
The Redmi 10a looks elegant with a really nice and premium design. This is something different from what we have seen within the same price range. The matte finish on the rear looks really nice. Also, there is a stylish camera module on the rear, which has got a fingerprint sensor as well. On the front, you’ve got a black border around the display, which adds little thickness to the device and the display looks slightly further out from the device. The overall design is very sleek and for the price point, it looks a lot more premium.
Redmi 10a Display
There is a 6.53-inch screen which is of 720 by 1600 pixel HD+ display with a 20:9 ratio. The screen is an IPS LCD screen with an 81.1% screen-to-body ratio and a 269PPI of pixel density. The brightness of this device is advertised to be at 400 nits of peak brightness. This display is Reading Mode Certified by TÜV Rheinland which is aimed to protect the eyes and reduce harmful blue light.
Redmi 10a Performance
The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 which is an octa-core processor built on the 12nm process. This processor is capable of achieving top clock speeds of 2.0GHz. The device is available in variants of 64GB of storage and memory of 4GB of RAM. Redmi 9A is powered by the Android 11 with Xiaomi’s own MIUI 12.5 skin on top of it.
Redmi 10a Camera
Xiaomi Redmi 10a has a single camera unit setup with a 13MP rear camera with an f2.2 aperture and an LED flash for lighting up the shots. The rear camera can support a video output of 1080p at 60fps. The front shooter is a 5MP with an f2.2 aperture with HDR enabled. The front camera can output up to 1080p at 30fps. At the given price tag you can’t expect more than this, however, there was scope for improvement to make the device competitive.
Redmi 10a Battery
The battery is a huge 5020mAh Li-Po battery which is more than enough to last a full day in a single charge. There is 10W of charging supported by the battery using the provided power brick. This charging capacity will be a bit shortcoming to charge in a short amount of time.
Redmi 10a Verdict
Xiaomi Redmi 10a is an all-rounder smartphone for entry-level buyers who just require the most basic features that a smartphone offers. But there are some shortcomings in this device that need to be fixed for future versions in this series.
