So here we are, just a few days into 2021 and already Xiaomi has come up with its first new smartphone of the year. The Xiaomi’s fresh new Redmi Note 9T is a 5G ready budget smartphone boasting typically strong specs for an affordable asking price. Redmi is known for providing well-balanced smartphones and there is already a vast number of devices launched by the brand in 2020, thereby attracting a huge market. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T Price in India  

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 9T in two variants, one with 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, and another with 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. The expected price of Redmi Note 9T in India is Rs.23,999 for the 128GB variant. You can buy this device in two colours and those are Nightfall black and Daybreak Purple. Redmi Note 9T specifications when compared with other smartphones from the same price range, the price turns out to be the reasonable one.

With 161.9mm of height and 9.05mm of thickness, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T is a large phone to handle and particularly for those with smaller hands. The smartphone comes with the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, entrenched on the power button for biometric authentication. The fingerprint scanner is accompanied by the volume rocker on the right side, while as the IR blaster, a USB Type-C charging port and a 3.5mm headphone jack are speckled around other edges.

The rear panel is made of plastic and has a textured surface, which feels good in the hand. Apart from that, there is a circular shaped module housing the rear camera setup, which appears matching to the POCO X3 NFC and Mi Note 10T Lite. On the front, there is a punch-hole cut-out for housing the selfie camera and there are thinner bezels around the screen. The overall silhouette of the smartphone, nevertheless, is upright.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T features a 48MP triple-camera setup on the rear side. The triple-camera offers a 48MP Wide-angle Lens with f/1.79 aperture, 2MP Macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The rear camera setup supports 4K video shooting at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps and 720p video shooting at 30fps and also the rear camera supports slow-motion video recording. For lightening purpose, there is an LED flash enclosed in the circular shaped camera module.

On the front side, there is a 13MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.25 and supports 1080p and 720p video shooting at 30fps along with slow-motion at 120fps.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T comes with a large 5000 mAh battery which is arguably large enough for ensuring longer usage. Redmi claims the battery to offer 15 hours of navigation, 18 hours of video playback, and 11 hours of gaming. This section is included with 18W fast charging, which according to the company will refill the battery up to 33% in just 30 minutes.  There is a Type-C charging port for connecting the charger.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T is an affordable 5G smartphone with some of the power-packed features like a huge battery, which is enough for providing a power backup of two days and the device features a decent processor for smooth performance along with ample RAM and storage.
