Poco X3, the successor to Poco X2, brings the vibe of a Poco device with a stunning new design thanks to its X-fashion quad-camera setup and an excellent 120Hz 6.67” FHD+ DotDisplay that makes it a premium entity priced almost one-fourth of what a flagship would be available at. Poco X3 won’t fail to impress with its unique back panel with a swag and a humongous 6,000 mAh battery especially packed for Indian users along with a blazing fast 33W fast charging support to name a few.

POCO X3 Price in India

Poco X3 carries a price tag in India of Rs 18,999/- or Rs 19,999/- as per the sources with greater stress on the latter price tag given that the NFC version launched earlier in Europe was made available at roughly Rs 19,900/- for its 6GB variant. The 8GB variant will be priced higher without any doubt.  The phone is available in two distinct colors i.e. Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue.

The front of Poco X3 has a vibrant punch-hole cutout that looks pretty premium. On the other hand, the rear panel looks pretty unique. Made up of polycarbonate, the back panel has multiple layers of textures and paint with a thick strip racing through the width of the camera bump with a huge “POCO” branding on-board. An aluminium frame gives you both durable exteriors clubbed with lightweight although a glass panel would have been a boost.

The Indian variant of Poco X3 sports a brilliant and vibrant 6.67” FHD+ DotDisplay LCD panel with a 395 PPI density and a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The display is ultra-fast with the 120Hz refresh rate that gives it 200% smoothness in transitions compared to a regular 60Hz display. It also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate. On top, the display is clad with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The display is HDR10 certified and can produce a peak brightness of 450 nits.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G clocked at a max 2.3GHz, the processor allows it to have excellent gaming performance. The octa-core processor has excellent graphics processing and with advanced AI computing capabilities, the chipset can take whatever you can throw at it. With LPDDR4X RAM at 6/8GB and 64/128GB UFS 2.1, both of these capabilities give it an edge over its competition.

Poco X3 runs on the latest Android 10-based MIUI 12 with Poco Launcher 2.0 that refines the UI and adds a variety of features and functions on-board. A 3D heat dissipation thanks to LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus with multi-layer graphite brings down the processor’s temperature by 6° C improving its performance by 20%.

Poco X3 packs in an X-based quad-camera setup arranged in a squarish camera bump at the back inside a circular block. It includes a primary 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor compared to detailed and clear shots even after cropping out 1% of the image. A 13MP ultra-wide sensor with a 119° field of view takes excellent wide-angle shots as well while a 2MP macro camera takes you even closer to objects shooting it at 4cm. It is paired with a 2MP depth sensor that exercises its prowess with bokeh shots.

A 20MP AI selfie camera housed in the punch-hole cutout at the centre and it compares accurate images with natural bokeh shots.

POCO X3 is equipped with a humongous 6,000 mAh battery which is 860 mAh larger than its Global Poco X3 NFC variant. This is capable of producing a backup of a good one and a half-day of mixed usage without any hassle. It is also backed by an ultra-fast 33W Fast Charging support that should charge the battery in little over an hour or so.

Poco X3, the successor to Poco X2, brings a beefy gaming-oriented processor on-board with excellent ROM & RAM configuration on-point with its price tag. The phone is impressive in many avenues especially its superb design although there are some trade-offs such as a polycarbonate (essentially a plastic) panel rather than a glass back and so on. At the end of the day, it is worth a shot.
