Google Pixel 8 vs. Google Pixel 6: Display

The Google Pixel 8 model has a 6.61-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. The gadget supports Super AMOLED panels with 520 PPI pixel density. Many Android smartphones with a 2K screen resolution use a screen design called the Punch hole.

Google’s Pixel 6 boasts a 6.4-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution. Another feature supplied by Google is that the refresh rate of the Pixel 6 varies dynamically from 60Hz to 90Hz dependent on what you’re doing on the screen. The Pixel 6 can output up to 800 nits of brightness while viewing HDR video in High Brightness Mode.

Google Pixel 8 vs. Google Pixel 6: Storage and Processor

The Google Pixel 8’s storage is adequate. The model has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The extendable storage option is not supported by this model. The device runs Android v12 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus CPU. In addition, the model includes an Andreno 660 GPU and an Octa-core CPU.

The new Tensor processor, which is based on the business’s technology, is present in both the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. One of Google’s first two smartphones, the Pixel 6, does not employ Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor. 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage are included with the tensor. So you can anticipate a flawless multitasking experience here. If you haven’t been following Google’s software update betas, Android 12.0 will be unveiled on the Pixel 6 when it launches.

Google Pixel 8 vs. Google Pixel 6: Camera

The Android variant enables a triple-camera system with an LED flash on the back. The first back camera has a resolution of 64MP, the second one has a resolution of 48MP, and last but not least, the third rear camera has a feature of 12MP. The 16MP single camera configuration on the front camera, which has an f/2.2 aperture, is also rather good.

Like previous Pixel flagships, the Pixel 6 sports two rear cameras. However, the normal dual 12-megapixel cameras used on Google’s devices are not present here. The Pixel 6’s primary camera is a 50MP wide-angle lens. A 12MP ultrawide-angle camera with a 114-degree field of view has been added to the lineup. Magic Eraser, a new feature introduced with the Pixel 6, lets you quickly and effortlessly remove people and objects from the backgrounds of your images. The Pixel 6 camera system’s front camera is 8MP, making it great for selfies.

Google Pixel 8 vs. Google Pixel 6: Battery

The device’s non-removable, 5000mAh Li-Polymer battery is of the Li-Polymer battery type. The Google phone also comes with a USB Type-C fast charger.

To take advantage of the Tensor chip’s stated power efficiency, the Pixel 6 will have a bigger battery. Google puts the Pixel 6’s battery capacity as 4,614 mAh. That’s an upgrade from last year’s Pixel 5, which had a 4,000 mAh battery. This phone supports rapid charging, although it is not as fast as some other Android handsets. It has a maximum output of 30W and can charge the phone from 0% to 50% in around 30 minutes. Qi wireless charging is also available. Furthermore, because the Google Pixel does not come with a USB-C charging connector, you will need to bring your own or use wireless charging.
