iQOO and POCO Offline Market Venture: What More?

    Highlights of the Story

    • iQOO and POCO will reportedly enter offline market in India.
    • They are planning on starting their offline market journey in between January and March of 2022.
    • They will start off with Tier-1 cities and later on, expand to other cities.

The Indian smartphone market is growing by the day, especially online. Now, in an attempt to strengthen their offline presence as well, iQOO and POCO are set to enter the offline market in India. Their parent brands, respectively Vivo and Xiaomi already have a good offline presence across the country. Going by that, their sub-brands should not really have that much of an issue setting up their offline presence.

91Mobiles, in an exclusive collaboration with noted tipster Mukul Sharma, has revealed this piece of information. Moreover, Sharma also reveals the estimated date when the iQOO and POCO offline venture shall become a reality.

iQOO and POCO Offline Market Venture: What More?

According to Sharma, both the brands are planning on starting their offline journey somewhere in between January to March of 2022. Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are where the offline smartphone market flourishes as quite a bunch of people refrain from trusting online portals. On the other hand, Tier 1 city folks primarily rely on online portals like Amazon and Flipkart to purchase smartphones.

Now, as both iQOO and POCO are set to enter the offline smartphone market in India, it will be interesting to see which brand overtakes the other in terms of coverage and sales figures. As mentioned before, both the brands have really good online presence. Recently, POCO sold out staggering numbers of their POCO X3 Pro during the Flipkart Big Billion Days 2021 sale event.

Meanwhile, iQOO was gearing up to launch their iQOO 8 series of smartphones in India. Sadly, they cancelled their plans of launching the flagship series in the country due to the global chip shortage. The series went official in China earlier this year itself. Hopefully, the iQOO 9 series smartphones will launch in India early next year. Moreover, hopefully both these much anticipated and hit devices by iQOO and POCO are available for purchase via their offline stores as well.
