Apple iPhone 7 was launched back in 2016 with a flagship price tag around Rs. 60,000. After the launch of the latest iPhone models, the price of iPhone 7 in India has been reduced toRs.24,999 for the base variant with 32GB internal storage.
The design has been kept the same as you have seen in the previous-generation iPhone 6s. The iPhone 7 is featuring the same 4.7-inch screen along with same dimensions, but some of the internal changes are there and you will notice few visual differences as well. The iPhone 7 is weighing 138 grams, making it slightly lighter than its predecessors.
Speaking more precisely, iPhone 7 comes with IP67 water and dust resistance for holding rain, splashes and protecting it when submerged in water. However, the warranty from the brand is not covering the water damage, so you must be cautious while exposing your iPhone to water.
In iPhone 7, you won’t see any physical home button, but there is a solid-state button included with the device, which is pressure sensitive and connected with a Taptic Engine for delivering haptic feedback. You won’t see any headphone jack on the bottom side in this device. It has been replaced by another set of speaker holes.
The Apple brand has introduced two new colours apart from the traditional Gold, Rose Gold and silver colour options. The two new colours include a black finish with anodized matte appearance and jet black finish, featuring a deep, high-gloss look.
The display used in the iPhone 7 is 25% brighter than the iPhone 6s display, so the smartphone will appear clearer and brighter outdoors particularly in full sunlight. For more saturated and vivid colours, the display in iPhone 7 is provided with cinema-standard wide colour gamut along with end-to-end colour gamut.
The 4.7-inch display comes with a resolution of 1134 by 750 pixels and a pixel density of 326PPI. You will get the best LCD display in iPhone 7, featuring the main improvement over its predecessor. Also, the 3D touch feature has been retained in iPhone 7.
Every new model from the Apple brand comes with a renewed processor. The iPhone 7 is stuffed with A10 Fusion, featuring a four-core CPU, which can combine power and efficiency of the smartphone distinctively. Along with the best processor the iPhone 7 is offering six-core graphics chip which is much faster than what has been included in its predecessors. The iPhone 7 continues to feature 2GB RAM
The A10 Fusion chip also features an embedded M10 motion coprocessor for capturing the motion-based data and the device is running on iOS 10 which can be upgraded to the latest iOS 14.
There is an updated rear camera in iPhone 7. The 12MP rear camera comes with an aperture of f/1.8, enabling 50% more light hitting the sensor. Also, the smartphone comes with optical image stabilization along with a six-element lens. On the rear panel, there is a new Quad-LED True Tone flash for ensuring much brightness than the dual-LED featured in iPhone 6s.
You will see the improvements in the front camera as well. The iPhone 7 has got a 7MP FaceTime HD camera for capturing selfies. The selfie shooter also comes with Apple’s exceptional Retina Flash. The live photos are retained in this model as well.
